This is a very good quality product, I’ve had several other brands in the past and they just don’t hold up as well. This was a little more expensive but well worth it. The only dislike is that the the screen protector is attached to the front cover and not attached directly to the phone screen. This creates a space between the screen protector and the phone screen which requires a little more pressure when texting or clicking. I think this could be remedied by removing the screen protector from the case and putting installing one on the phone screen. I plan on trying this. I've had this case for the past 10+ years. An iPhone, for me, lasts about 5-6 years before it gets replaced. When I replace the phone, I also replace the case because the old and new phones are usually slightly different. This will be the third time I've replace the case and the belt clip. In all that time, I've never broken a screen or suffered from any damage to the phone. I've dropped the phone (in the case) onto a stone tile floor from about the height of a bar stool multiple times and have never had an issue. I think I've had to replace the belt clip just twice in all that time. In the first instance, the swivel on the clip broke. In the second instance, I damaged it while sitting down in a chair when the phone hung up on the arm rest. Overall, the product has one job and that's to protect my phone from damage. The case gives extreme protection to the phone. The only drawback is that the protection comes wit bulk and increased size. It makes a slippery phone easy to hold. But, if size is an issue for your pocket or purse, you may find the bulk a problem. Over time, the rubber may deteriorate, but they last a long time. ... show more

    • Good protection, but the tradeoff is visibility
This case has an integrated clear plastic protector which your phone sits behind. I.e., there is an air gap between the case's front protector and your phone. Consequently, you may have to press harder than you are used to -- especially if your phone has its own protector adhered to its face -- and the screen is VERY hard to read outdoors due to the little scratches and imperfections that inevitably develop in the plastic. In addition, the bulkiness of the case makes it hard to target the home key of my iPhone SE. With my old Otterbox, which was less bulky and did not have an integrated screen protector, I could kind of forget the case was there; it was easy to find the home button and press it with only moderate pressure, e.g. if my phone is on a table. With this case, I have to pick the phone up off the table in order to get a proper fix on the home key. I do feel that this case offers great protection, and I am prone to drops while out walking the dog, so I'll keep it until the difficulty reading the screen outdoors is too annoying, then probably go back to the style without the screen protector. ... show more
