We live in Upstate NY so we get lots of snow and it’s cold in the winter. Every year my husband would put on multiple layers to keep warm so this year he purchased the coveralls and vest. These are thick and durable to keep him warm and dry when he’s plowing snow. The vest he wears daily over his flannel jacket and he’s pleased with the comfort, look and ability to stay warm. Also, it’s Carhart! This was also the best price we could find so it was an easy decision.

This vest was a really great purchase. Love the warmth and the weight. I have some arthritis in my back and both shoulders and this vest is is truly a comfort.. Finding that I wear it really often.. plenty warm enough without being overly warm. The Sherpa lining is nice and soft and I find myself wearing it just relaxing around the house because the weight and warm lining feel good when back and shoulders are aching & I don't like using heating pads...On the really cold days we had right when I received it, I was plenty warm without feeling confined in a heavy coat.. Nice vest. Comfortable and good quality. I ordered a size smaller than the chart suggested because the other reviews said it runs a little larger. I got a medium instead of the large. I could have worn a large but it would have been a little too bulky. A sweatshirt fits well under this. At 5’8” and 195lbs, the medium was a perfect fit.

Now that I have a size smaller it’s great. A good thick hoodie and this vest is great for a cold day. If it gets colder put on a jacket over it. It’s good material and made to last so yes buy one it’s worth the money.

I like this vest. Is comfortable but seems durable. I just wish it came in a size xlt as xxl seems just a bit large for my preference. Sherpa lining is nice.

Perfect for what I wanted. Nice fit, very warm and excellent quality. I have purchased Carhart items before such as pants and tshirts and been more than pleased. I have been fooled in the past by Chinese knock offs and almost did it again. For an extra $20 to $30 stay with known companies. Just be aware, the vest does run large as I saw in previous reviews so drop down a size when ordering. Very satisfied
