  • Great boots!
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown
I will be the first to admit that when I typically buy something I need I go with the cheapest possible solution. There are exceptions to this but footwear has never been one of them. I work on a farm so my boots take a beating. Usually I can get about a year out of a $60 pair from walmart. This year however my new pair didn't even make it a year, the interiors wore out and I was getting blisters and places wear it was rubbed raw on my feet. So I gave in, did some research into some more quality boots and gave these a shot. I have bought Carhartt coats and hats before and know what a quality brand they are. I will go beyond saying that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and say that they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. Even when I put gel insoles into the other shoes/boots. I've already put them through some paces testing out the waterproofing and composite toe and they did not disappoint. My feet remained dry and safe. When combined with a pair of the Carhartt Men's Force socks they feel amazing. I worked a 13 hour shift doing a multitude of things and being on my feet all day. Climbing on and off trailers for a good 7 of those hours. And ONLY THEN did my feet really start to bother me at all, my feet would have been dying by the end of that in my old boots. If these last for a few years then I definitely know what my next pair of boots will be. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown
These Carhartt boots are the real deal. These are not cheaply made. The only downfall that I have to say are the strings. They are a little thin and not for this type of boot. They need to be thicker. Other than that these boots can handle it. Great protection for your toes and great support for your ankles. They look great and wear nicely. Like any footwear when you are going to be on your feet for long periods of time, be sure to add a pair of insoles. That will help in the ease of use of your boots and your feet and legs. ... show more

  • Comfortable. ...
Size: 10 Color: Brown
Very comfortable! These are a great pair of boots - I typically wear Timberland Pitbosses, Irish Setters, Danners and some others, however, I am impressed with the fit and comfort of these Carhartts - just as good as the aforementioned boots. Nice features too - insulated, waterproof, soles have good grip and overall, they look pretty good. As for a sizing reference, I wear 10.5D in sneakers (Nike, UA, NB, Asics - sneakers typically run small) and a 10D when boots fit as expected. ... and these do. A perfect secure fit while still having some wiggle room thanks to a larger toe box. All in all, a solid boot that is very comfortable. Thumbs up! ... show more

  • Good work boot
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Dark Brown Oil Tanned
I am on your typical jobsite daily. lots of climbing, twists and turns. These boots stay with me. The high ankle support makes me not have to worry about turning an ankle. And the boots have a good sole so no slipping around. I've worn Redwings for the last 5 years. My job provides me with boots, so I take care of my feet. Had a problem with Redwing shipping to where I live (had a store 10 miles from my last residence) because now I live in Japan. Regardless. I wanted to try these Carhartts. I needed a larger (wider) boot. These claimed to be extra wide. And they are, I just wished they were wider. That is really my only complaint. They have just got broken in, and that takes a few weeks and so they are not as tight as they once were. But nowhere near the comfort of my last boot. I am not sure I will buy these again. I have no regret getting them. Just wished they were a fraction wider. And they could have come with a ratchet lace system. Or I am just lazy. ... show more

  • Terrible quality!!!
Size: 10 Color: Brown
I had these boots a little over a month and the back heel ripped wide open. I usually work out in the elements. I took them off after an easy office day and saw the rip. I didn't catch or snag it on anything. $200 boots should last a lot longer than that. Carhartt customer service was terrible. I had emailed them all the photos they needed multiple times. I kept getting lost in the system. I have loved their work clothes, terrible boots. I have not been the only one with this problem. I will definitely be buying a different brand of boots in the future. Amazon was amazing and offered me a full refund. Thank you amazon! ... show more

  • My husband had these for 2 years for construction work.
Size: 9 Wide Color: Dark Brown
My husband liked that they protected his ankles and keep his feet warm during the winter season. They are good for construction/ laborers workers, he had them for two years so far. They fit snug while still stylish!
