These boots are the most comfortable, durable boots I've ever purchased. This is my second pair. I work in a freezer warehouse, 12 hours shifts and my first pair lasted 2 years. They have kept my feet warm and dry and forgetting that I'm walking/standing on frozen concrete floors. I highly recommend this boot for outdoor cold weather winter boots or like myself if you work in cold storage warehouse condions. They are a bit bulky but they are solid boots. Feet feel firmly, yet comfortably planted. They also look great, I have received several compliments on my boots people asking what they are and ect.. they are on the expensive side yes I admitt that but to me it's worth it and any other boot is just sub par. I deliver Oil and Propane in Northern New England and I am trudging through the snow and rain and ice on a daily basis and these boots keep my feet fairly warm (definitely warm enough, I do wear Darn Tough wool socks) and dry. I have seen reviews of people complaining about the locking eyelets for the laces and also the back of the boots ripping apart. That has not been my experience. I think those people are not unlacing the boots enough when they remove them and they might explain the back ripping? Like I said I deliver fuel so I’m not digging ditches so I guess if you are digging ditches maybe they wouldn’t perform as well as they have for me but I find that they are rugged and can handle anything I’ve experienced and all while being comfortable for 12 hour days 6 days a week. The break in period was minimal and I didn’t need to treat them with anything for water proofing. The toe box is roomy but not to much and it’s a composite toe so you don’t need to worry about your toes getting crushed. If I had to pick something that I didn’t like it would be that my ice cleats barely fit but they do fit. I wouldn’t wear these in warmer months they are made for cold and snowy/ice conditions. I would also say you may want to go down a half size for a perfect fit. Hope this helps. ... show more

The boot is very comfortable and I was able to wear them all day right out of the box without my feet hurting and I walk a lot usually over 4000 steps a day and frequently over 5000. The problem I have with the boots are the lasing eyelets. The four at the bottom are fine (normal), the fifth one is a locking device and is a problem (not to mention is sticks out and catches on things), the next two, the fifth and sixth from the bottom are "D" rings and are also a problem as the strings have to be pulled through each of them individually because they pinch the string under them. I have only one eye which means no depth perception so it is very difficult to tell which string is which. The top two sets of lacing hooks are great and the three sets below them need to be the same as the top two. The boots are fine, but lacing them up is very time consuming. Maybe the boots are fine for someone who can see, but it seems over designed to have four different types of eyelets on the same boot. ... show more

Using these boots for work, they took some time to loosen up and get comfortable. Initially, the heel was tight and hard to get my foot in. After a little over a week of wear, they broke in and became easier to get into. Now they are comfortable, a little wide in the toe box, but there is room for nice wool socks when winter really kicks in. The warmth is great. Nice and cozy in cool weather, and good in cold conditions. I haven't been able to use them in proper snow yet, but in <3" they kept me dry and warm. I got some boot gaiters to wear with them as well, as 10" will only help so much. Solid construction with good stitching. I'm a little nervous of the laces they came with, as they are very thin and light. But replacements wouldn't be too hard if needed. They've held up so far, and the attachment points seem solid.
