Bought these to put around our backyard and deter predators of our chickens and orchard / berry bushes. The night I installed them, the robin nesting in a nearby bush got immediately upset and started her alarm call. Then 5 other robins were spreading the alarm call. The chickens were confused why the robins were signaling an alarm since they couldn't see the lights given that they're pointing away from the chicken run. That night, I caught a fox running past the flashing light full speed on the wifi cam. Note, the fox keeps returning even with the lights moved to new locations. Only time will tell if it keeps the deer away. No other night predators seen on wifi cam since installing these (besides fox). My only complaint is that I wish they designed it so that the flashing was staggered and not continuously flashing fast. I own battery-powered string lights that have 10 modes for the lights to blink, so I don't think it would be hard to add that small electrical component to this product, too (request to the manufacturer in China). Lastly, it's not motion-sensor activated. They just start blinking every night at the same time.

We have raccoons and that’s what killed our last batch of chicken but ever since I got this there’s been no raccoons anywhere in our property. You should totally get one, if you have chickens specially, if they’re your babies.

I had problems with predators trying to break into my chicken coop but not since I mounted the Solar Nocturnal Animal Repeller. The best part is they charge automatically with solar power. I mounted 2 on each side of the coop. So far so good !!
