Knob twisted off first time using. It seems the plastic is too soft which allows the nut to turn inside. This is definitely a manufacturing defect and should be addressed. Since this review, I attempted to contact the company for a resolution since this did say it had a 3 year warranty. After a week, I have yet to hear back from them. I can't return them as I no longer have the box. It's not worth the cost of purchasing a box that will fit these items. I would NOT recommend purchasing these. ... show more

Good concept but extremely cheap material. Fell once and plastic broke. Does not hold well in camper channel. Would buy something else but none available.

... and when they do you'll have to hack these things to keep them in place. As the other reviews have stated, this is a fantastic concept, just poorly executed for the sake of cost. The metal pieces are robust and well machined. the plastic bits are just crap. they break during assembly, the knob that holds tension, doesn't, so they contract and fall down. nearly always breaking the rounded piece that secures it against the awning tube. Expect a loud CLANG at some point owning these and then discovering that the plastic end has flown/broken off never to be found. ... show more
