  • Measurement of window awning roller is center of arm to center of arm. To calculate the awning length, measure the window width (outside of frame to outside of frame) then add 6" and round up to the nearest window awning size available
  • Bottom Bracket on the awning arm measures 2" wide x 1" tall. Fabric will measure 6" less than the awning size stated
  • Important note: If you have two windows side by side with less than 10 of space in between, you will need to cover both windows with one awning
  • Easy do it yourself installation
  • Color matched awning rail included

The SL Window Awning includes awning rail, arms, roller assembly and fabric and all necessary mounting hardware. Available in a variety of Dune Stripe and Shale Fade color options. Comes in 3 feet to 7 feet lengths with increments by the half foot and works for window up to 36 inches tall.

We have a Class C with the typical large window over the dinette. There have been times we want the window open but close it due to rain and other times we have to close the shade to keep the sun and heat out but then we lose our view for a part of the day. This shade has taken care of that. Our first day of using it there was an unexpected rain shower and we were able to keep the window open, enjoying the cool cross breeze, without rain coming into the rig. It gets very hot in Texas and now we can block the midday sun hence the heat that comes with it. The shade was very easy to install. I advise 2 people and some sort of platform to walk on. We parked our rig next of our flatbed trailer which gave us the perfect height and set-up so we did not have to up and down a ladder. There was no problem driving down the highways, no flapping and everything stayed tight to the rig. I definitely recommend this shade. ... show more

Built well, looks great and is very functional for my application. It would be nice if all the screws were the same color as the rail hardware. My smaller awning came with a small stain that i could not get out but it was on the curtain flap in the corner so I decided to use it.

Great product, relatively easy to install. So far, it seems to functioning well. Not a lot of rain where we are but it looks like it will keep rain out well. I like it because it's more wind-resistant than my two large awnings so I don't feel like I need to close it while we're out doing stuff. The only complaint: it was missing the cane, the rod used to open and close the awning. Until we find something else to use we have to get the ladder out to open and close it. ... show more

It took a few months to get time to install. I installed one 5.5 foot black, no problem The second one was 5 foot which i didn’t find out until I trued to install the arms. Also when I unwound it it was brown fabric. I ended up having to order a new 5.5foot black awning to replace the brown one. I used the brown one for the bedroom window. At some time i will order a new black 5.0 foot fabric for it. Really disappointed carefree customer service quality is so crappy. I am stuck now having to order more of their stuff to match with what I have. I am mad with myself for not checking upon receiving. ... show more

Take your time installing and make sure they are level. I was installing 2 of them next to each other so they had to be streight and level to match when they were opened. All hardware was included and I used a sealant tape to fit behind the rail to seal the screws. Very happy with them and they match my factory awning fairly well also! We ordered 2 sierra brown and after I installed them they looked like a light burgundy on our motorhome. Ended up ordering a dune fade fabric to replace what was on them. The hardware and everything else was perfect for our application.
