I love this pill organizer. It's perfect! I have medications that I take typically 3 times a day, but sometimes 4 and this has space for either case for a whole week! You can fit plenty of very small pills, a decent amount of medium sized pills, or 2-4 large pills (horse pills as they call them), in each section of the container. For me it holds everything, but a liquid medication I take, but that's to be expected. The whole organizer feels sturdy, though the smaller containers hinge points feel thinner, but I really don't expect it to be a problem so long as I'm not prying them open with a ton of force, which they definitely don't need in order to open them. The feel is so pleasant as you click closed each container and the overall organizer closed. The colors also have made it feel like a fun part of my day rather than perceiving the need for medications as depressing or a super boring daily chore. I simply have a routine to refill for the next week on Sunday nights before bed and I'm set for the whole next week. It has been extremely helpful for ensuring I don't forget or struggle to initializing taking my morning medications, which help me in turn remember things easier and have the ability to initialize my morning routine and get going for the day. I definitely recommend it to anyone that takes medications 2 - 4 times a day and take up to the quantity of sizing per pills that I listed above. I haven't gone traveling yet but it is perfect for traveling with medications! I would not be concerned with it opening up and spilling everywhere or breaking so long as it's packed well, just cushioned between a couple shirts or something in case your travel bag gets tossed pretty hard like they can be by the airlines. ... show more

For years, I've used a travel system where you fill plastic envelopes and store them in a cloth container with pockets for eight days. Longer trips required separate bags of pills to redistribute by day needed. For daily use at home, I used seven-day containers for four times of day. This pill box is about the same size as my four daily pill containers, fills easily, LOCKS so pills don't fly out all over if you drop it taking it out of the cupboard, and allows you to take out a day at a time. I've used it for several weeks now and just ordered another one for longer trips. Really like this! The four capsule divisions for each day are quite helpful. The 7-day organizers are nice. I can take one with me if I'll be gone for the day, which is nice. The tiny dividers for inside the big container are very fragile and broke before I knew it. I like the locking mechanism especially for travel. One note for travel though - it's a bit bulky when you have to pack with limited space but at least you know your pills won't come undone and spill all over! ... show more

This pill dispenser is the best I have tried. I have 2 cats who play with everything and they would knock off the pill holder and i would come open and I am not sure I found all pills. This has a lock system on each day. It has holder for 4 spaces of pills. The outside holder for all week has a lock system that is the safest I have found. Thank you for this pill dispenser. I have to take some meds and supplements at four times a day, and traveling nessicated a system better than carrying all of the bottles. This has worked like a charm! I purchased this three years ago, and its still perfect! The hinges show no sign of wear or tear. The ONLY thing I wish is that the manufacturer would make the extras of the daily boxes, so I could fill a month at a time without all of the big box container.
