First let me say that I don’t give reviews! However, this massager really does work. I have Degenerative Disc Disease so as soon as it arrived I took it out of the box and did a 20 minute test massage. To my total surprise this thing did a great job on my neck and back! I’m one of those people who buy a lot of stuff hoping they work to relieve my discomfort and I’m usually disappointed, but not this time. It’s easy to use and very effective for my needs. The only reason I did only 20 minutes is because the instructions tell you to only use it for 20 minutes at a time. Being able to rest your wrist in the straps is GENIUS! M.D. recommendation for neck pain. This is way more. Blew me away. Ordered 2nd, don't want to be disappointed the day this stops working, it can only last for so long. Meantime, what a great invention! I've had a lot of massages but this surpasses even the professional ones. Reverses direction once a minute. Optional heat, which isn't too intense but you can sense it. Shines red when heating. I think it doesn't matter which side you put left or right, it's pretty much the same. Cord is long enough (about 6 feet), can use extension cord if you need more length. Uses about 30 watts. I like the lower two intensities. I keep it in a plastic bag between uses. ... show more

This truly felt like a masseuse was giving me a professional massage. (it was kind of startling!). I'm single, live alone, and was constantly rubbing against door jambs or light poles... anything to relieve the chronic neck aches and back aches . 2 minutes after this arrived I was in heaven! The long handles make it easy to move around. You can vary the intensity, location, and heat to make it feel alive. I have had this before but either loaned it or I’ve misplaced it. So when I had a stiff sore neck and shoulder I looked for it. To no avail. I knew its effectiveness so when I couldn’t find it I ordered another. It arrived next day and I immediately took it out of the box and put it to use. Immediate relief and soothing comfort.     • Pretty good massager & I have DDD and dystonia
I have degenerative disc disease and dystonia. Dystonia is characterized by rigid, spastic muscles. There are a few deep spots this massager doesn’t get, but it definitely helps, in between chiropractic appointments. I can’t afford as many adjustments and massages as I want. This helps fill in the gaps, during those waiting periods. My chiropractor has asked me to use it the day before my appointment, because he is able to adjust my neck, shoulders and trapezius area much more effectively after I use it. The best thing about it is that it doesn’t break easily, like every other massager like it, that I’ve tried. I am careful with it and it hasn’t conked out. I’ve had it a while and use it a lot, sometimes 3 cycles in a row. I can only get one speed to work, but the other buttons can make it a more effective massage. I believe 2 speeds used to work. I don’t mind, because I always use the higher speed and that’s what still works. It doesn’t have the long finger things my favorite massager ever had, but it also doesn’t break every 2-8 weeks, and need to be replaced. ... show more
