It was easy to install and the new gaskets that came with it made a tight seal with no leakage. It took only a few minutes to remove the old carburetor and install the new one. My Subaru EA190V pressure washer would not start after a few years of hibernation. Took off carb, cleaned, and reinstalled. Still no start. Ordered new carburetor and it came next day on Sunday. Replaced the old with the new and it Started first pull! Exact replacement, no alterations, Great price, Happy camper!

Easy to replace direct bolt on. Engine started right away. The choke is spring loaded so disconnect the spring if you have a manual choke lever.

I've ordered and installed approximately a dozen of these small engine carb replacements over the years. Not a one of them installed and worked satisfactorily out of the box - until this one. I was going to rate 4 stars for lack of documentation regarding proper idle and mix settings - BUT - you can find generalizations online if needed. In this case - no need to as it came properly adjusted. The float setting was spot-on. Idle was miraculously - spot-on. All gaskets provided and fit well. Highly recommended !!

I bought a very good condition Subaru pressure washer from a yard sale for $40.00. They told me “it didn’t get used for a few years and now it won’t start”. I assumed the carb was plugged up from sitting with dirty fuel inside and it should be an easy fix. Took it home, removed the carb, disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, installed, started after a few pulls, but struggled to run under load. Repeated the process 2 more times. Adjusted air screws, float and needle, was really close to running good but just not quite right. Spent the better part of the afternoon tinkering plus a trip to get another can of carb cleaner. After the 3rd attempt at reinstalling, and tuning I had enough. Looked on Amazon assuming I’d have to spend a hundred bucks for a new carb. Found this guy for like $12.99. Was a bit skeptical but decided to give it a try. Even paid a few bucks to get it in 2 days instead of 5. Amazon van shows up after 2 days as promised. Opened the box, swapped the carb out for the new Tang. Pull the rope, starts right up, runs like a champ. Very satisfied with purchase, been pressure washing everything without an issue. Thanks for a great product at a great price. Now if I could just get my wasted afternoon back…
