This 2008 scooter was in storage for around 16 years. I purchased this kit to completely change out all the old gas components. Everything from the gas tank to the carburetor was gummy from the fuel just sitting there. Really nasty smelling stuff too. The carburetor throttle was stuck closed and didn't even move, so I decided to go with this replacement option. Fuel lines were stiff and even brittle. Replaced them all. The vacuum fuel pump and fuel line filter were most likely clogged up. Replaced them. All items are in this kit. And removed the fuel tank for a complete cleaning out. With the fuel system now renewed, I proceeded to change out the engine oil and rear gearbox oil. The intake air filter was still in new condition, and i did not use the new kit filter. Will save it for later. There was ample fuel line supplied in this kit for my scooter application. Everything was a correct replacement, except for the intake manifold, which was a correctly fitting part, but mine had an extra vacuum fitting on it, so I did not use the one in this kit. See picture. After replacing the old battery and adding gas I was ready to fire it up. While cranking it I could see the gas moving thru the new fuel lines and filter. Cool. Then the carburetor filled up and it came to life. After it warmed up I adjusted the idle and mixture screws on the carburetor to a nice idle rpm, while running as smooth as I could get it. Very pleased with this kit. A very good price at under $30. And I purchased 2 kits! There were 2 of these 16 yr old storage unit scooters that I purchased. Both scooters are running nice. Both were very low mileage too.

I ordered this carb kit for a Chinese 125 atv. I swapped out the electric choke and used the manual choke setup that the atv had. Have been running it a couple months now with zero problems. If you have carb problems on a cheap Chinese quad just buy this kit.

Fitment was almost spot on. The intake bolts on my gy6 were a few mm wider than the manifold holes so I has to widen them a little bit. That's the reason for the 4 stars. Also I couldn't use the supplied air cleaner without buying an extention for it.

The media could not be loaded. Ended up upgrading the jets. As it sat though, it started the engine! We did the big bore for the 150 to 172.
