    • Exact fit
This was an exact fit for the Jeep Patriot that I fixed. Make sure you take out the old o-ring as they tend to stick in the slot. Reset the Check Engine light, then run the vehicle thru a drive cycle.

    • Easy install and car running better now
quick and easy to install in a '10 dodge avenger. Took about 30 minutes to replace the original that was going out. Gas mileage and performance improved but more than likely that was because the original was not properly functioning.

    • Defective out of the box
Car still had issues after installing the new throttle body. I decided to have the car worked on at a mechanic shop. They ran tests and determined that this throttle body was NOT performing correctly and was bad right out of the box. If I had known the new throttle body was the problem, I would have removed it from the car and returned it for a refund. I missed the return window so I have to eat the price. I am starting to learn my lesson that these cheap "overseas" replacement parts sold online are a real gamble, no matter how many positive reviews are showing.     • Saved a bunch of money!
My 2014 Patriot lost the throttle response. After doing a little research, it turns out this is a pretty common problem. The big box stores wanted almost $300 for this part. I found this on Amazon ordered in the evening, and it was on my doorstep at 4:30 AM the next day. Extremely fast shipping. I set myself up, and it took me about an hour to install the part. I think the trick was to take the battery out to gain access. Many guys say you must remove the radiator hose, but that is not true. If you take the battery out, you have plenty of access. Car is now running again without issue for an amazing 50 bucks and hour of my time! ... show more
