    • Some Design Flaws
This CarPlay device has some serious issues than can not be overlooked. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it can be powered by the supplied USB cable. This was not described prior to purchasing. This device is made of high quality materials but the operating system which allows it to work with iPhone is flawed. After connecting my helmet headset and the iPhone 16, I lost volume control on both my headset and iPhone. It transfers volume control to the home screen on the CarPlay operating system. The location of the volume control is difficult to locate while riding a motorcycle. This defeats the purpose of using a CarPlay device. It should be more accessible to prevent taking your eyes off the road or hands off the handlebars. I am very familiar with how CarPlay devices operate. I purchased one for my Side x Side and it works flawlessly. This one is very difficult to operate. Another design flaw I noticed is the anti-theft detachable monitor which allows it to be removed when parked unattended. It has spring loaded electric contacts that disconnect when you hit a pot hole or bump in the road. ... show more

This review is for: "Car Stereo for Motorcycle, Universal Motorbike Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto GPS Navigation Dual Bluetooth, 5 Inch IPS Touchscreen Waterproof & Dustproof IP67 Navigator EQ System Voice Control" This works well. Easy to mount. Comes with a few ways to mount. The biggest selling point on this for me is the RAM/Ball mount. I have clip ons on my Royal Enfield so there isn't much real estate for mounting to bars, so I need to use the RAM mount. Now onto the device a bit more. Carplay is a stable connection. Havent tested android auto. It's a basic device, its a tad slow, and the screen isnt huge. It's an older model for sure. The newer ones have a bit better screen with smaller bezels. It serves one purpose - carplay to display maps / music while you ride. You can see who is calling or texting you and attempt to respond with voice, but you're better off setting up "do not disturb - I'm driving right now" just to be safe... The included wiring is pretty thin gauge, but it works. I was able to crimp on a couple spades and attach to my aux power connector and it powers on/off with the motorcycle that way. Overall this is a GOOD product but don't have high expectations with screen quality or speed. It is a basic device to help you navigate / listen to music on moto adventures. ... show more

Works fine. Setup was easy. Comes with a few mounting options, Wish it came with a option to mount to steering bolts. I had to buy that separately,but it is no big deal. Screen is bright enough ,and looks better than I expected. Touchscreen is responsive. Wish it wasn't trimmed in orange. Just straight black would be ideal. A bit pricey,but I don't regret my purchase. Hope it lasts. ... show more

Was OK when it worked now it cuts off every 15-20 minutes and has to reconnect. I’ve only used the product for 2 weeks. Would send it back but I ordered it in July expecting an ordered motorcycle to be in which wasn’t the case. Had to wait til September to use the product.
