Heiha is the brand you will receive and the install is pretty easy. As far as the stereo goes and bluetooth connection those all work pretty good aside from the hard to see in full sun screen. My real issues is the apple car play. Been using this for the better part of 6 months now and I finally gave up and bought a more expensive better unit from a name brand. (they say you buy cheap you buy twice and I certainly had to buy twice). The car play is laggy and the touch screen is semi responsive. The worst part is that this unit will randomly freeze mid drive during navigation or even just playing music. The first few times it happened I reached out to the company email and they sent an update that was supposed to fix it. It did not resolve the issue and I dealt with the occasional freezing. I reached out again a couple weeks ago to see if there were any new updates and they just did not respond so I gave up and bought a name brand head unit which is night and day in comparison. Moral of the story is just spend $100 more and you'll have something of much higher quality. ... show more

    • It works as described!
The first unit I received did not work (I could not see the WiFi but the Car did see the device as a CarPlay unit). Amazon did a quick replacement and that unit works just fine! This device works much better than I expected. It is quick to start and show on the display and I see no real lag from when I used a cable connection. So far I've had no connection issues and it just works as described. Tip: Before setup - Remove your phone from the car's Bluetooth, remove the Car from the iPhone's Carplay section (Settings/General/CarPlay). Plug in the device and find it in the iPhone's WiFi as smartBox-xxxx and select. Accept the Carplay setup in the Car display and all should be good. This uses both WiFi and Bluetooth so make sure both are enabled and not currently connected on initial setup. ... show more

It works great after jumping through hoops. I do really like it but here's what I had to do to get everything to work. The radio, Bluetooth and android auto worked after hooking everything up. Steering wheel controls do NOT work right out of the box. Had to buy a separate $50 module. Tried absolutely everything before the module. Rear Camera did NOT work. Pink Wire goes to the brake light, they did NOT supply the additional wire needed to run all the way back to the reverse light. But if you want this to work, you need to run two wires total, one for the pink wire and one to connect the red power wire to the red ACC wire on the back of the radio unit. Then of course you need to run the video cable all the way up to the radio too. So that's one cable and two "self supplied wires" She's up and running and works great, sounds great. I'm happy with it, don't follow the instructions though or you'll have to jump through hoops and wire everything a second time. ... show more

    • It has its issues
***Third update*** I purchased this April 29th and am posting this final edit on July 13th. as of Friday July 7th the Wireless car play adapter has completely stopped working. I get a the black screen that shows wireless car play that I get every time but it never boots past that. I have tried unplugging it several times with no luck. I typically wait about 45 seconds to a minute after I plug it in to see if it works but this think is dead. if you want a product that will work for less that 75 days that this is the product for you. it costs slightly more than a dollar a day. It started out fine. Rarely I would have to unplug it to reset it and I noticed a small delay here and there, mainly when a song was ending and it started a new song. I would see the new song was already playing for 2-3 seconds still and the last song just just ending. but for most applications I enjoyed it. However since I can not get it to even connect anymore its not worth it and I'm upset that I can not get my money back for this item. I originally wrote a review saying that I’m not experiencing any of the issues others are claiming but after a month or so I am seeing more and more issues arise. I do notice the lag when changing songs, the screen is about 3 seconds behind meaning when a song is over and a new one starts the screen still shows the previous song for ~3 seconds I am having issues with connectivity, when I start my vehicle now if I make a call sometimes it registers that the call was made but no audio comes through on either side and I have to disconnect and reconnect. It’s having a harder time connecting more and more each day. If I had to make this purchase again I would probably look elsewhere. ... show more

    • With Patience, works flawlessly
I have now had and used this device for 5 months and I am a fan. One thing to know is that how fast it starts up is inconsistent, sometimes it is very quick, sometimes it is much slower. But it pretty much always works. I have had times when it seemed to not work, but i think I was impatient and rebooted the device before it was done booting. Since then, I have been patient and it always works, CarPlay comes up every time. It is great. And I love the wireless functionality, so easy. ... show more

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. After we were able so secure an appointment to have in installed a few months later we are informed that is will not fit the car as advertised. Now we are over the 30 day return and have a radio that won't fit
