I originally ordered these because Sally's was out of the all metal ones in all the stores around me. They were a great deal (only 99 cents!!) so I ordered them and they were here the next day. I opened the package expecting them to be cheaply made, but I was wildly surprised. They have a nice plastic grip that makes it easy to use and grip in different directions. The blade was sharp and worked to make different shapes. It even came with a how to shape guide! Overall, these are sturdy, cost effective, easy to use, and great quality! Very sharp so it clips the nail easily. The only thing I don't like is that the springy thing in the handle to open and close them doesn't work..not sure if I got a bad one, or what..but other than that, they're good. -UPDATE- I think I got a dud the first time because they sent me another one and it works perfectly ... show more

When I first started doing my nails this nail clipper was part of my first big purchase and can honestly say it’s a game changer very durable given that I’ve had it for years and have had no issues using it. It’s very sturdy and comfortable to grip or use.

It cuts the nail but…

It’s gets 3 stars because 1. The product shipped fast, 2. The product cuts the nail and 3. It came with an extra blade…but I’m disappointed, here’s why: I specifically bought these to cut down an acrylic set once they got too long while keeping the shape. These clippers DO NOT cut in a half moon shape as I expected. They actually just cut the nail in a jagged pattern (there was no shape) and it looked terrible. I saw a video review on here which shows exactly what I’m referring too. BOTTOM LINE: If you want a cheap clipper that clips the nail, go for it! If you are expecting a clipper like the nail salons use, this is not it!! Save your money. ... show more
