I purchased a 2023 Nissan Altima and learned the next day that even a new car needs to be waxed right off the showroom floor. It rained, and water did not bead on the surface. I dreaded the process of waxing because it has always taken so long with traditional wax. I researched spay wax and thought I would give it a try since the science seems to support it. I washed and waxed the entire car in less than an hour with no fear of the wax getting on trim pieces. (See the picture of the tail light) The next day it rained and the water beaded up right away. Even the morning dew beads well (see the third picture). I cannot speak to longevity yet, but I have driven over 2,000 miles since the first wax job and water still beads up on the surface. I am thrilled with the product and the included microfiber cloth. Today (1 month after I did the first wax) I put on another layer since I read you can layer this wax. I've used this wax for about two years now. Someone I work with gave me Chemical Guys wax. I tried it and did not like how it went on or felt after I applied it. I applied this on a Ram , on the left side, then I did the rest of the truck with Car Guys Hybrid wax. The next time I washed the truck ( three weeks) the left side of the truck had no beading and the rest of the truck was like I just waxed it. In terms of adding shininess, it does the job, its easy to use and easy to wipe but it lacks the hydrophobic properties and general slickness. Its still slick but not as much as compared to similar products. Nevertheless, its still good. Id still buy it again.

    • Cat box use seems promising

I purchased this product to wax the insides of my cat boxes, to make it easier to scoop out wet clumping litter in contact with the sides and bottom of the box. I had a different product I really liked, unfortunately the company went out of business so have been looking for a replacement product. I need something suitable for use on plastic, nontoxic and without an odor that would put my cats off from using the treated boxes. This in addition to preventing wet litter from sticking to the box making it harder to scoop and harder to clean when it's time to dump old litter, wash out boxes and refill with fresh litter. So, I sprayed clean boxes and buffed according to directions, let dry thoroughly and refilled with new litter. It has only been a couple of days, but my husband who is the main box scooper noticed a difference. And he had forgotten I had waxed the boxes; he just noticed on his own the litter clumps seemed to scoop out a lot easier than before. Now fresh litter seems to not stick as bad as used litter, but eventually the wet soaks all the way to the bottom of the box and can be like chiseling concrete. But right off the bat, the waxed boxes were doing better than new fresh litter alone. I am hoping the wax will hold up until time to dump, clean and refill, but so far so good. Even if it takes a few cleanings and rewaxing to build up enough protection to make this unpleasant job easier, it's a win. I will try to update in the future. If this stuff works for more than a few days, I will be purchasing more, and telling all my crazy cat lady friends to buy it. I volunteer at a cat shelter, so I have a lot of cat owning friends. ... show more

Easy to apply ! I use it on all paint and the black hardtop surfaces on my Jeep. I feel like I'm cheating its so easy to apply lol. My paint was already conditioned and glossy and the Hyprid Spray adds even more gloss.
