This product got easier to use as I got more comfortable using it. It took me some time to get it loaded properly and to learn to use it with ease, but I an impressed once I mastered it. It is truly waterproof and made it through several days of downpours from WV to Florida. The only issue that I had was one of the buckles breaking. I think this may have been more user error on the part of my son when he tightened it, rather then product failure. Even still, we just tied to broken strap in place and went about our trip. This car topper had great instructions. The first set up takes a minute to figure out, but much less time when we were using at the end of vaca to come home. We were able to use it for all of our beach equipment that was awkward to fit in the car. We padded the bottom with beach towels which worked out well. Took a cross country trip, rained the whole time, and arrived to my destination with all dry contents!
