I was hesitant but got it anyways. Installation was easier than expected. 1) The instructions are very basic. 2) Tried to follow videos in youtube and got an idea but none of them are 100% applicable to this unit. 3) This unit is easier than any of those videos in youtube. In essence once you unmount the stereo from the car, you need to get the ABS/clock/hazards part and put it in the new unit (you don't even need to break the parts like they do in the videos, you take that part off and slide it in) 4) That being said, from that moment one no mores screws are used, incluiding the harness that secure the head unit. 5) Carefully take the yellow clips from the old unit and put them in the new one 5) You just connect the cables and stick the stereo in. 6) I put the 2 lower screws back in, but the 2 upper ones no since there's no harness to attach them to. + The fact that there was no more screws make me wonder about how solid the stereo will be, specially once i got off road or drive in rough terrain. I'll update then. + I was sad because my steering wheel controls didn’t work but pressing the options in the main menu i found the way to activate them: Car settings SWC type > select "Learning type" Enter SWC setting interface > you can pretty much customize your controls as shortcuts! *I incluide a picture of these steps* *I still haven't been able to use the GPS outside android auto, so i don't see the purpose of the GPS antenna. Overall a very good quality and easy to install unit. Will keep updated on how it behaves.

We installed this about a week ago, and it has been working great. The fitment is excellent, and it doesn’t look cheesy or overly aftermarket. Honestly, it looks like it could have come stock from the factory. The instructions are a bit confusing in a few spots, but overall the install was fairly straightforward and we were able to work through it without much trouble. One thing worth noting is that the USB cables are routed into the glove box. We’re not entirely sure why they’re needed or why they are placed there, which feels a bit odd. The backup camera is very clear and high-definition. When you put the vehicle in reverse, all audio cuts out. I actually like this feature—especially with a new driver—since it helps them focus more on what’s going on around the vehicle. One downside: the backup camera arrived cracked. I tried calling but didn’t get an answer; however, I emailed them and received a very quick response. They sent out a replacement camera right away, and it should be an easy fix. Overall, great product with excellent fitment and solid customer support.

Had to disassemble my stock radio to install this. In doing so I damaged it. Not a big deal because I’m installing this nice new one right? Wrong. Two days after installing the screen is frozen. I tried resetting it and it’s still frozen. Requested a refund and I have to wait minimum 14 days after I drop it off to receive a refund. So now I’m driving in silence while I wait for Amazon to give me money back for this

For the price it's a lock! The instructions aren't great but you can figure it out if you just take your time figuring out the connections and watch some YouTube videos. Everything works well including the steering wheel controls and my original reverse camera. Little trouble with Android auto but I think it's mainly because my phone is old. Wireless AA works through wifi phone-to-stereo so make sure that's on. If you exit Android auto, you can get back into it by opening the apps page and clicking the zlink app. It's not an expensive unit but I wasn't expecting that. Lots of room at the back since it's flat backed, it just clicks into the plastic clips instead of using the factory mount metal side brackets/10mm screws. Comes with loads of wires and everything you need including a trim tool. Overall super pleased! Glad I went with the 9" instead of some of the bigger ones, looks very flush. I was worried I'd miss the volume knob but it's not an issue with steering wheel controls and the side menu and on screen buttons.

The install wasn’t too bad just need to pay attention and be careful. I did not hook up the backup camera because the directions were VERY bad for the backup camera. The unit works well and fits perfect for the price I paid I’m vey happy. The sound quality is good and it’s a huge upgrade from the stock head unit. If you’re buying this be prepared to have a difficult time installing the backup camera. I’m sure it’s possible it’s just hard.

Awesome, fits perfectly, great value for money. Sound quality was so much better then what I was using before (cheap Bluetooth adapter), looks amazing, adds modern and sleek look to an older car, works perfect and is a very big upgrade for the price. With no electrical / car experience, I would say it was easy to install, instructions can be slightly confusing but there’s a ton of YouTube videos on this product that helped me set it up. Some may say laggy, but for a replacement this has overall boosted the audio, looks of the car, and functionality. Planning a trip in my 07’ Tacoma and I am more then confident that it will be successful now that I have the backup camera that is included, as well as the maps now in full screen. 100% would recommend if you are looking for an upgrade!

Bluetooth connectivity started taking a long time after a while. frequently looks like someone is remotely controlling the interface. It changes screens like someone is swiping. If i'm on a call and try to hang up on the screen instead of my phone, it goes completely haywire. worked great for about two weeks without any issues and right after the return window it just randomly started messing up and gets super hot and makes a terrible noise repeatedly until unplugged. Works about 75 percent of the time, but i have to completely unplug the power source and re connect for it to reset.

Fairly easy to install. Instructions are simplified but adequate. The internal amp also seems to have a bit more power than the stock unit. Sound quality is decent and the built in eq, surround and loud boost are a plus. The CarPlay works like it should as does the reverse camera. I installed it in a 2006 Tacoma because I hated the look of the factory silver plastic dash and to add a little modernization and functionality. For the price it did what I wanted it to do and works like you’d expect. If you’re looking for a budget friendly and functional CarPlay this is not a bad choice. You’ll see in the pictures I added a few more snap in pieces to help change the look of the interior. Total between the two pics is around $350 including the CarPlay, knobs, trim, drop in cupholders and console. But the CarPlay itself fit perfectly and didn’t need anything else to be purchased in order to install.
