Awesome, fits perfectly, great value for money. Sound quality was so much better then what I was using before (cheap Bluetooth adapter), looks amazing, adds modern and sleek look to an older car, works perfect and is a very big upgrade for the price. With no electrical / car experience, I would say it was easy to install, instructions can be slightly confusing but there’s a ton of YouTube videos on this product that helped me set it up. Some may say laggy, but for a replacement this has overall boosted the audio, looks of the car, and functionality. Planning a trip in my 07’ Tacoma and I am more then confident that it will be successful now that I have the backup camera that is included, as well as the maps now in full screen. 100% would recommend if you are looking for an upgrade!

Fairly easy to install. Instructions are simplified but adequate. The internal amp also seems to have a bit more power than the stock unit. Sound quality is decent and the built in eq, surround and loud boost are a plus. The CarPlay works like it should as does the reverse camera. I installed it in a 2006 Tacoma because I hated the look of the factory silver plastic dash and to add a little modernization and functionality. For the price it did what I wanted it to do and works like you’d expect. If you’re looking for a budget friendly and functional CarPlay this is not a bad choice. You’ll see in the pictures I added a few more snap in pieces to help change the look of the interior. Total between the two pics is around $350 including the CarPlay, knobs, trim, drop in cupholders and console. But the CarPlay itself fit perfectly and didn’t need anything else to be purchased in order to install.

For the price it's a lock! The instructions aren't great but you can figure it out if you just take your time figuring out the connections and watch some YouTube videos. Everything works well including the steering wheel controls and my original reverse camera. Little trouble with Android auto but I think it's mainly because my phone is old. Wireless AA works through wifi phone-to-stereo so make sure that's on. If you exit Android auto, you can get back into it by opening the apps page and clicking the zlink app. It's not an expensive unit but I wasn't expecting that. Lots of room at the back since it's flat backed, it just clicks into the plastic clips instead of using the factory mount metal side brackets/10mm screws. Comes with loads of wires and everything you need including a trim tool. Overall super pleased! Glad I went with the 9" instead of some of the bigger ones, looks very flush. I was worried I'd miss the volume knob but it's not an issue with steering wheel controls and the side menu and on screen buttons.

Just finished installing this in our 2015 Tacoma w/ JBL. Knowing what I know now, I'd say the provided instructions were good enough that a semi-experienced person can figure it out. The stereo is designed to fit a Tacoma, Prius, Tundra, Camry, etc so your wiring setup may not be exactly as shown in the installation guide, which was my case. But with patience I figured out the wiring. Note: Some of the original factory cables were left unconnected, and not all of the provided harnesses require connection. Pros: -Cost -Good fit with existing dash -Definitely an upgrade to have a larger screen for maps and the ability to use CarPlay Pro/Con - Provide Installation Guide did not include my exact radio, but with some thought it was sufficient to complete the wiring. Overall, installation wasn't straight forward but with YouTube videos, provided instructions, prayer, and Ruicar customer support, it's done. - Factory stereo had premium audio w/ JBL and sounded REALLY good before installing this new one. The sound definitely isn't better and I'm questioning if it's even as good as the original. I'll have to keep playing with the audio settings, but I'm kind of bummed about this...I love my music. (I've even considered reinstalling the factory stereo to see if others can tell the difference, but for now I'm letting it go.) Overall, I'm keeping my rating at 5 Stars because given everything, it's still a good overall upgrade for our 2015 Tacoma. Cons -Required customer support to get the radio configured properly To Ruicar's credit, customer service saved the day. They checked my wiring given the pictures I provided, and after confirming that was correct, they provided additional instructions. Once the radio was set via software to the proper configuration, the issues I experienced went away. Overall, very pleased with the product and customer support. Time will tell on its durability and if I can get the audio settings tweaked to be as good as my factory stereo.

Worked great after initial installation. Then a few days later features just stopped working, first the volume control form the steering wheel stopped working. A few days later the microphone stopped working so I cannot long speech to text while driving, which is the main reason I bought this. I few days after it will no longer stay connected to my phone. Every single time I connect it and within a day it loses its connection with my phone, and I need to re pair them. FM antenna connection is horrible, I've lost about 30 miles in distance from local FM stations.

Wow! Came with everything to install, no modifications needed! Makes my JBL stock system sound like a nice aftermarket speaker and sub system were installed! Very happy with ease of installation. You do have to use the clips on the back of your old system though, that is the only gripe. No drill or screws needed, except to remove the old system. As close to plug-n-play as you can get! Only thing is sometimes it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to initialize Android Auto.
