Great bed! Took about 7 hours to build with one person - but there's definitely a couple of steps that is easier if you have 2 people. The wood slat portion is with because they give you measurements you have to measure out yourself to space out the slats, as it's not marked or have holes or anything. Missing a bolt of one size (substituted an extra of another size, so hopefully it's not going to be a problem later on). Instructions are not super clear, so you have to pay attention to the number of holes and their orientation so you don't have to flip already attached pieces again. Missing another screw that holds one of the wheels together (for the drawer) but doesn't seem to be a problem. The drawers are not actually attached to the bed, which is actually good since we can easily use the bottom of the bed behind the drawers as extra storage space if you roll the drawers out fully. Love this bed, would buy again. I do want to mention that it does take quite a bit of time to put together. And you will need help. Directions are iffy and you have to really pay attention to the direction some of your pieces are facing. Took us about 4 hours. Also. Once we got the bed put together, it is very hard to actually put sheets on the bed. Reaching the corners under the house section is a bit of a nightmare. It's worth it but it's not easy and this bed likely won't get made a lot. ... show more

I absolutely love this set! The directions can be hard to follow and there were 3 times I put a beam upside down and had to later unscrew a few other beams in order to flip it because the directions did not show clearly which way it was supposed to go. However, I LOVE building things so it was not a big deal for me to make a few quick fixes. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone super new to building. If you're up for it, this set is awesome and super cute!! My twins' room is a very odd shape as it's built around the stairs, so I had to buy a bed for two that could fit in a VERY tight space. Once it’s finished it’s real nice and the girls love it. However be prepared to break your head a bit with the instructions. They are not very detailed and a lot of the parts are not even marked so you need to figure out. Don’t over tighten anything or it will come back to haunt you later on. The media could not be loaded. It arrived to me in excellent condition and with all the pieces, you don't need extra tools to assemble, it took my husband and I 61/2 hours to completely assemble it but it was totally worth it, it is beautiful, I highly recommend it and it is larger what it seems like. ... show more
