Had them programmed in under 5 minutes on a 2010 gmc xl. But I had to do both new fobs and the origional at the same time in relearn mode. And I got the two keys cut at the local hardware for a couple of dollars each, and programmed them quickly. They work great and was a lot cheaper than going to GM to replace 1 key and fob for $150. ... show more

At this cost vs $180 from the dealer this was a no brainer. How’s, be aware you cannot remotely start you vehicle with this fob.

    • The keys do not work🙁😤😔😡
Although remotes were pretty easy to set for my car and they do work I do not have any issues with them the keys were and are the problem it was stated that I would be able to take the keys to a locksmith and have them cut to customize my car settings however when I took it to the locksmith they stated they were unable to cut it to fit in my car so now I'm stuck with 2 keys that don't work I am very disappointed. ... show more

I didn't like that they had to be programmed by a locksmith, unlike my last car, which I was able to program myself. But still, the cost of these two fobs and the programming fee by the locksmith was still about $150 less than buying one at the dealership.

    • These worked perfectly on my 2014 GMC Acadia
Just had these cut and programmed by our local locksmith shop. They both worked perfectly, including the button for the rear lift door. This particular set doesn't have the remote start, but we never use that anyway, so I'm totally happy with the purchase.

Looks identical to the Existing Key fob I already have for my Chevy Traverse. It literally took me 10 seconds to set up both remotes, and they work like a charm. Don't know if I will use the keys though.
