First I’ve got to say that I’ve done a lot of online research, going to the big box stores and physically looked at well over 25 portable biometric gun safes. This one provides you with more bang for the buck. Many at the big box stores operated the exact same as this, with enough features and security but, they were typically double or triple the price of this unit. I’ve compared prices, durability, size, security and again, security. This unit by HOLEWOR suits my needs perfectly. The unit is compact yet large enough for larger frames, it’s well built with a welded locking tongue and metal security flanges. Setup was easy and configuring it for my fingerprint was simple and effective. I’ve had several others try their fingers to open the safe and it proved fruitless which tells me about the accuracy of the fingerprint reader. A great price that’s much cheaper than what I had seen at the big box stores plus free shipping and easy returns at Amazon made it a no-brainer. It’s perfect for the trunk or for storage and it comes with well written and easy to understand instructions. It requires 4AAA batteries (included but I replaced with Duracell), it has a built in key lock should that ever be needed plus you can power it through USB-C when the batteries have drained. It is no rechargeable through usb, only used to power the LCD and locking mechanism. This is the best priced unit I e found anywhere and I only purchased one from the gitgo to ensure it meets my need and it sure does. Now it’s time to purchase several more.

Works really well. Very cool. Very small which I like. Although it barely fits my m&p 2.0 competitor with a holosun optic. It also can’t fit with the 23 round mag in, but that’s ok I’d prefer it being small. The only thing is the finger print scanner doesn’t seem to read your finger from different angles so I had to set up 20 different finger print IDs so the safe would unlock from me scanning my fingers at different angles. Each finger print scans within about a 90 degree angle

I rarely leave reviews, but.... I purchased one of their safes and honestly could not be happier with it. The design is practical, convenient, and clearly thought out by people who understand real everyday use — not just marketing buzzwords slapped onto a product. It feels solid, reliable, and easy to integrate into daily life without being a hassle. What really impressed me though was the customer service. I ran into an issue that was completely my own doing, and their team still treated me with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. That says a lot about a company.
