These 3/4" CAP Puzzle Exercise mats are just what we needed. These are 3/4" thick, EVA and interlocking. We installed for our new home gym that was converted from a she (insulated with A/C added. We did not want to spend thousands of dollars for the floor on our home gym (converted from a shed), we are mid sixties and need something to last a couple decades at most. We won't be slamming 300 pounds worth of weight on the floor so the rubber did not seem like a necessity for us. The do need to be installed with all of them as the same side up, we got to the second package before we figures this out. These fit well and were easy enough to cut the edges with a utility knife and a straight edge as a guide. Our room is about 11 1/2' bu 19 1/2', so we had to get enought for a 12' X 20' room (240 sq'). But that is good, we have 4 extra full pieces in case a few get damaged. We ended up with a lot of end pieces since we bought a few bundle of these to get to 240 sq feet. You might want to cut them fit if the room is warm when you install, These do expand and contract a bit. ... show more

Durable, no strong smell, got this to prevent damage on my carpet, using for temporary storage for my front load washer and dryer. I did cut it with scissors so I can close the door but had no issues matching up squares.

I've been using the CAP Barbell Exercise Puzzle Mats for about a month now, and overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. These mats are perfect for protecting my floor while working out, and they provide excellent cushioning for high-impact exercises like jumping or burpees. Pros: Easy to Assemble: The puzzle-piece design makes it super easy to set up and adjust the mat to fit any space. You can add or remove tiles as needed, which is great for customizing your workout area. Non-Slip Surface: I love how grippy the surface is. Even when I'm sweating or using equipment, the mats stay in place, and I don't feel like I'm slipping. Versatile: These mats are multi-purpose. I've used them for everything from yoga to weightlifting, and they handle it all. I especially like that they can be used in a home gym or in a living room where floor protection is key. Comfortable Cushioning: The mats provide just the right amount of cushion. They’re thick enough to protect your joints without being too soft that it affects your stability. Easy to Clean: I’ve spilled some water and sweat on them, and they wipe off without issue. No stains or lingering odors.
