You wouldn't expect something this heavy to survive a trip anywhere without damage to something. Both 50 lb plates arrived with zero damage to either themselves or the boxes. WELL packaged and double boxed and wrapped in protective packaging materials. Wish everyone packaged things up this well. It will be awhile before I can lift 100+ lbs so these will be used separately for various exercises along the way. I am just restarting weight lifting so I am only using the lighter weights for now. I am a little under 300 lbs total for plates so I am set for improving little by little. Any guests will have a variety of weights to lift here too. Paired with adjustable dumb bells I now have an ideal setup for any exercises I will be doing. I love grip plates for this reason as you can use them for other exercises other than just on a barbell. These plates appear well made. Grip areas are a nice handful and secure so long as your grip is. These would hurt if you don't. Plates this size are HORRIBLY expensive and these two were some of the most reasonable priced ones I have seen both locally and online. If you want to elevate your gym experience these are the plates and the company you want to build from.

Did you know modern exercise? Science says that weightlifting is the single most important exercise activity. You can do to improve health longevity. Joint manipulation heart rate Blood Pressure. All the metrics that we measure a person's physical health can be improved simply by picking up heavy things. And putting them back down again. And with this weight set, you're a lot closer to achieving your goals The finish on the weights are good. The weights when tested on a scale are showing proper weight that they should be at. They fit snugly when screwed in place on a one inch barbell. And the handle holes on the outside exterior of the weight plates makes it easy to stack the weights on or take them off. Seriously, if you need me need a elaborate, any further about why to buy it. I don't know what else to tell you, Buy it. 4x10 lbs plates

Exactly what they're supposed to be: cast iron weights with a helpful handle design, that look great and do their job as expected. My only gripe is that they're not quite 10lbs. each. They work well, obviously, I just dislike that they are almost 2 ounces off at 10 lbs.

Don't normally write reviews, but had to on CAP's Barbells. Not sure where these were forged and made, but these barbells are of the highest quality. Beautifully packaged, and the finish on the outside of the plates is very attractive. Glad I "bet" on these, because buying these plates from Amazon saved me a trip to 20-mile trip to a barbell dealership that would have cost me even more money and a lot of time. Highly recommended!

Excellent plates. There isn’t a lot to say about weight plates. They will weigh what they are. What I like about these over what I had is that these don’t make a loud bang each time I put them on the bar. The coating helps them stay quiet. My dog doesn’t get startled over and over when I am lifting.
