Great solution for a mic stand that needs more weight for stability. It is an affordable solution with the hole in the center slightly larger than the standard mic stand so it easily fits. This may be an unusual use for this but it works great and is easily installed.

These aren't perfect but their close enough one weighs 48.6 lbs and the other one weighs 50.2 but ill get years of use out of them!!! I'll just put a 1 and a half lb Weight on that end!!! Update 6/6/2026 Just received my 2nd set of 50lbs They both weigh in at 50.8lbs They did arrive scratch up a little bit but so what!!! I didnt buy them to look at i bought them to continue my weight lifting Journey!!! I Laugh at people who complain about scratched up weights but the weight still weighs what it is supposed to weigh!! I think the cap company should! Should state that receiving a scratched weight does not constitute a refund! Only weights that are below the weight on the weight should be grounds for replacement like a 10lb Weight being 9lb 7oz.

I have bought twelve 7.5lb plates total. The reason I am buying 7.5lb plates instead of larger plates is because these are going on dumbbells. I like the fact that the 7.5lb plates are pretty small in diameter and you can still fit 4 plates on each side of a short 14 inch handle. That's 60 pounds plus the weight of the handle in a compact form factor. I also have four 5lb & four 2.5lb plates. So basically I can go from the weight of the handles which is 3.8lb up to 63.8lb in 5lb increments. I only recently got back into lifting after 40 or so years of not lifting. I used to lift when I was in HS, you know, back in the black and white cathode array TV days. Now that I am old and on the doorstep of being elderly, I have made a choice to get in better shape. I lost 145 pounds, got my blood pressure in the ideal range and I started lifting weights and eating way more healthy. Back in July I could barely curl 23.8lb dumbbells and now I am working out with 38.8lb dumbbells. I also started dumbbell presses and went from 33.8lb workout weight to 48.8lb workout weight. Yes, they are not massive gains but none the less they are gains and gains at my old age. I recommend these CAP plates for anyone looking to get a little healthier on a budget. There are so many exercises that can be done with dumbbells. I have plans to get a EZ curling bar and I have my eye on the CAP 25lb plates. The images is of 12 of the CAP 7.5lb plates configured in a 48.8lb dumbbell pair. It's my current dumbbell press workout weight.

Ordered quickly (and half asleep) before I realized they had 1 inch standard holes. Tried to cancel after 18 minutes but apparently they had jumped right on this already 😐. But I'm glad I kept them. They add incremental weight to two pieces of equipment designed to build wrist strength (wrist wrestler strap and roller) where small increases can make a difference. So I've put them to good use and found them to be a quality item at a fair price..

These cast iron weight plates worked great for my Bells of Steel adjustable competition kettlebell, bringing the maximum weight from 20.5kg to 27.7kg. Unfortunately, there was only enough space for 3 out of 4 plates to fit inside, but I'll take it!

There's not much to be said about an iron disk. It works as intended, which means it's heavy. It's round, and its hole allows a barbell or dumbbell handle through it. Ease of use? Well, it's not supposed to be easy. That's the whole point of weights.

I bought this weight for a rather unorthodox reason. I am using this as a weight press for making Scandinavian Gravlox in my Dutch oven. It’s the perfect size for my roughly 5.5 quart Dutch oven. I use bar mops to hold it steady in the middle so as to surround and support the pressing on my Salmon. Sometimes you just have to improvise to get the benefits of home made foods that all too often are pathogen laden; this, from manufacturing plant processing due to poor quality control nowadays as a result of immigration policies which have resulted in the elimination of properly trained workers who were foreign born. Until we restore paths to citizenship, I will continue to make as much of my processed foods at home. When there’s literally “nobody minding the store” so to speak, it results in massive and uncontrollable diseases that were previously preventable.
