Good quality weights with supportive handles. The stand was a little difficult to put together as the bolts took effort to tighten with a wrench. There wasn’t enough room to get a small socket on backside of the nut to make it easier.

I ordered these after another set that I ordered from Amazon was incompletely delivered to me. With some hassle they finally issued a refund but I wasn't about to order from the same vendor again. Instead I chose this set and it came in four shipments and they all are accounted for and look great! I ordered the black handle and we weighed each weight individually on a scale. To start, this item is shipped in 4 boxes three of which is heavy weighing more than 50 lbs each, except for the box that contains the rack. If you live in a 4th floor walk up like I do, bring a box cutter and just tote the dumbbells two at a time. Trust me that process alone gave me a work out. Phew chile...lol. Secondly, everyone is right, the smell is horrendous (think of burnt tar and gasoline). I got rid of the smell by wiping down each dumbbell and spraying them with fabreeze...twice. No stench after 24hrs. These weights are solid and built nicely. Word of advice, decide your placement of the rack BEFORE you put the weights on it because it will be very difficult to move it. 150 lbs is nothing to sneeze at. I love this investment. ... show more

very sturdy, nice weights. watch out for your fingers when putting the weights down. easy to pinch them. Great quality for money. Usually market charges about 2 dollars per pound. So this set is a steal.

1. The rack has sharp edges. 2. It is practically impossible to take off from/place dumbbells back without touching sharp rack edges. 3. The dumbbells themselves have a strong, toxic smell resembling burnt motor oil. My whole basement stunk badly for more than a month.

The rack was fairly easy to put together, but you will need a wrench to hold the bolts in place. I didn’t have one, so I used pliers, which wasn’t the best, but it got the job done. When I got it put together, I realized one side of the rack was missing half the rubber guards. I filled out a form on the company’s website & someone contacted me within a few days & a week later, I received replacements. It was only missing 5, but they sent me 7, so I have extra now. As other reviewers have pointed out, there is a bit of a smell at first, but it’s not as bad as some made it seem. Only noticeable when you’re using them or standing right next to them. Love the look of the black handles and the price was great! I did purchase during prime day, so they were on sale. Would definitely recommend though. ... show more
