  • Love this camera
Wonderful tiny camera. I’ve owned cameras all my life, first film, then 2 Canon DSLRs. My last set up with multiple lenses was absurdly heavy to carry. This item is tiny in comparison. I ordered 3 lenses, have been using the set up for the last week, and it’s definitely a keeper. Electronics are much advanced over the 20 year old model, make everything easier. This camera is easy to use even for beginners, but perfectly good for experienced users. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Great lens, easy to use
This lens is terrific. I am learning how to use it. These pics were taken two nights ago and it was great with the macro, and clean with distance.

  • My go to lens, up close, landscape shots, can do it all without changing lenses
Great lens for the price, exactly what i needed for an everyday use, great in the daylight decent at low light but cant get everything with one lens. Great match to 100-400mm.

  • Decent, but not worth $500.
I wanted a lens with a good focal range for my Canon R50 and R100, something that I could use as an everyday lens and that wouldn’t cost that much. After watching a few reviews for the Canon RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM zoom lens on YouTube (the reviews were mixed), I decided to give it a try. I did not want to spend $500 for a lens that's basically a step up from the kit lens (Canon RF-S 18-45mm), but I did. Right out of the box I liked the weight and feel of the lens. It felt like a stable lens, and when it was attached to my R50 or R100 it felt good. I tested the lens out at a nearby park, and in the end, I decided it was not worth the price tag. The reason for this is because even though the lens produces decently sharp images at its widest focal length (18mm), the images it produces at its longest focal length (150mm) are not really sharp. They’re useable—as long as you’re not examining them closely—but not for a lens that costs $500. Even the kit lens seems to produce sharper images under the same conditions. It’s not a bad lens, but I think for the overall quality of the images it produces it should cost much less than what it costs. ... show more

  • A versatile focal range.
It's hard to beat it for versatility with an equivalent 29-240mm range. What it lacks in sharpness it makes up for in range. There are also some unusually high levels of chromatic aberration with both purple and orange fringing around high contrast areas in the image. Overall, though, the lens is fairly decent and offers up a lot more versatility than the typical kit lens. ... show more
