Who doesn’t appreciate multi-use tools? Adjustable pliers, channel-lock pliers, whatever your name for these is, I needed these in my toolbox. I had 2 no-brand that quit cooperating and I spent more time fighting to get the pliers to the right size grip than actually using them - I’d almost forgotten how easy these are to use. I pressed these into service immediately as I was working on a toilet repair that morphed into a powder room refresh. My only problem is that I forget these aren’t the right tool for everything. Overall, these are superb for my purposes. They fit my hands well and the adjustment movement is natural. For reference I am a 5’1” woman and I wear a small in work gloves. ... show more

These slip joint pliars are made from what appears to be good metal. The adjustment grooves are well cut and the adjustment action is good. I would have given them 5 stars if they had been better polished and the milling marks cleaned up. My experience with tools like these indicates the rough surface will collect dirt and grease.... and making them prone to rust as well. Just a few minuets more on the polishing machine and they would be 5 star. ... show more

My 83 year old hands aren't as strong as they used to be, so I've been looking for something to use to open bottles and jars. Most of the devices I've tried are a joke. So I decided to try these pliers and they work great. Everything they say in the description is true. I set them to open a certain amount for a certain size cap or lid and they stay in that position until I change it. It doesn't take much pressure to hold them tight thanks to the long handles, so they don't slip off the bottle cap.
