Due to space constraints, I needed a wireless printer. My Brother decided it would no longer work wirelessly, so I had to replace it. This one is fine for basic printing. It's reliable and fairly quick. The print quality is fine in black and white, but I can't speak to the quality of its color printing. The scanning function is easy to use and high quality. I've only used it with my PC and haven't tried it with my mobile devices. Two drawbacks: 1) It turns off (or sleeps?) when it's done printing and has to physically be turned back on before it prints again. This is annoying, since I have to go to another room. 2) It gobbles ink at an insane rate. I do occasional printing for basic household stuff, and I've had to replace cartridges twice in four months. 3) The manual double-sided printing is annoying. If you print a lot, definitely don't buy it, but if you need a printer for occasional household use, why not buy it? It won't change your life, but it'll do the job.

Nice little printer. I don't do very well with tech stuff but this was easy. Don'y worry-they give you several options on set-up. One of them will work.

This is a low cost printer/scanner with WiFi connection. It will print from any device connected to your WiFi. The set up of the printer was more effort than I would prefer. It took several attempts to get it linked with the WiFi. Do not know if it is the paper or the printer, but it sometimes grabs 2 or 3 sheets at once. It is not a fast printer but a home printer generally does not need to be. No issues with printing documents. Not tried graphics heavy or photos yet. With ink jet printers the costs is in the ink and not the printer. The started ink packs have lasted so far, but the included documents do not say how many pages to expect, only that they come with starter ink (i.e. less ink than standard cartridge). Have scanned a few documents and it works fine. Not had to rescan anything as the scan was clear on first attempt. The main reason for purchasing this model is it has a scanner. I probably need a scanner as often as I need a printer, which is not often but convenient to have an all-in-one at home. The device is light (cheap?) plastic so it does not appear to be able to take physical damage. Keep it out of harms way and it will last long enough to get your money's worth out of it.

Decent compact printer although didn't come with sample photo s advertised and with the price of LED's so low I wish they would put one in the display window. Other than that, easy to set up (need to download the Canon setup app. I used 3520 as the series as 3500 isn't listed). App talks you through wifi install. Nice setup app with pictures.

Did not like that you dont know what ink cartridge goes with printer. All it says is that people buy these cartridges with this printer. Well I thought that was the ink cartridge that was compatible with printer but it takes a different cartridge. I was looking for printer that was compatible with the ink I had at home and now I have all this ink I cant use. The printer works great, just wish that it took the ink cartridges I have at home. I would never have bought it if it didnt say that people bundle with this printer and it isn't even the right cartridge for the printer.
