  • I LOVE this thing
To be straightforward, this is my first photo printer, but I have to say, it does a fantastic job. Beautiful prints. And so far the ink seems quite reasonably priced for it. I'm using it to print fine art for frames, and so far it's doing a fantastic job. I found that any time the prints get a touch "stripey," I just do the auto cleaner and it totally fixes it every time for me so far. And I LOVE doing the larger prints. They're so clean, clear, crisp, and beautiful. And for under $200, I'm not sure how it could be better. HIGHLY recommended. ... show more

  • Perfection!
This printer is absolutely amazing!! It took a little bit to get the wireless to get connected and going! Once you have it connected it’s a beautiful thing! This is perfect for my printing needs especially for a very small business! I’d buy again!! Best $150 I’ve spent in a while! Well worth it!

  • Used for Eatable Paper
I love this printer! I use it for eatable images and it works perfectly. It is easy to use and is compact. It doesn't make a lot of noise and it prints quickly and with high quality. I could not recommend it enough!

  • Great little printer
I bought this early February 2023. It has worked just fine and the ink that came with it lasted a surprisingly long time. I recently printed 75 brochures for a friend, printing one side, then flipping over and running through again, so 150 impressions. I was amazed at how quickly it printed. Very please so far. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because as others have commented, I gave up trying to get the wireless printing to work. (I would have liked it to work so I could print from my iPad anywhere in the house, but it's a minor issue, I suppose if it really meant that much to me, I'd still be trying to make it work LOL) ... show more

  • NON-STOP ISSUES
This printer started out printing phenomenal separations on acetate for screen-printing. Using a custom licensed printing method in which all 5 cartridges have black ink one couldn't ask for better quality. I printed out the separations for 5 shirts, front and back no problem. Then about a month later I used the printer again and had some quality issues, faint prints then streaks. I cleaned the heads a few times and it got a little better and then it just nosedived, quality wise. It seemed the more maintenance I did the WORSE my prints got. I had to manually clean the print head tray by removing it and soaking it in an authorized cleaning solution. That did the trick and I was off and running again. That happened two more times. Then it happened again and I was told by Canon, in so many words, that an idle printer is an unhappy printer. Fair enough, but WHY was there was NO MENTION ANYWHERE of maintaining your printer by regularly running a page through every so often (two days, three days, four?) ALSO- why not have a better RECOVERY protocol if that happens? I was getting NOTHING now. NOTHING. None of the cleaning features on the driver solved my issue. Head alignments, cleaning, deep-cleaning, nozzle checks etc. Wasting ink, wasting acetate, wasting time and calls to Canon yielded no help, all they did was run through stuff I already did only to end up telling me that I "could" replace the print head tray but that it wasn't guaranteed. Oh and by the way the warranty only lasts like a year- my fault I should've gotten an extended one. ... show more

  • Does not keep the print head aligned
I've had this almost a year and Zero complaints. I print on Draft most the time as I use it to print 11x17 fabrication drawings as I have a custom fab shop. About a month ago it stopped holding alignment and kicks about every other inch of printing to the side by about a 1/16" of an inch. It only prints acceptably on High Quality now which is like watching paint dry. I've done the Automatic alignment AND the manual alignment at least 6 times. No luck. It's now the greatest slowest printer I've owned and will be looking for something else that can print the way this Used to. ... show more
