Was looking for an "instant" camera or printer to replace my clunky Instax 8. Still love instant film, but the film is expensive and the camera is big to tote around everywhere. Glad I found the Ivy, since I can take photos and print them out from anywhere. I use this mostly for journaling and being able to print and stick these anywhere is so simple. The app is easy to use, the zink "film" or paper isn't too expensive and the size is portable. Not to mention , fun to use. The battery does drain fast after a handful of prints, and the print quality runs a little warm or reddish. Also if you're editing the pictures on your phone and printing them, I noticed that the quality goes down versus when I edit the pictures in the Ivy app. The Canon Ivy app has a lot of variety. Stickers, text, borders and a battery icon that let's you know if the device needs to be charged while in the app. The Ivy does use bluetooth and will disconnect quickly if you're not actively using it. Battery saving tactic I guess. Overall, this printer is so fun and easy to use.
