    • Lasts forever but expensive
When it comes to cameras, you should always have at least 1 spare battery when you go out shooting. These new LP-E19 batteries, specifically for the 1DX Mark II seem to last forever. I have no idea how they managed to get such a very low CIPA score but you can ignore it. Works perfectly with your new 1DX Mark II however the price is extremely steep. Canon always seem to charge a premium for their OEM batteries. When it comes to this camera however I want to stay with original equipment and not risk cheaper off-brand batteries (which I do use on my other cameras). If you want to shoot at the maximum 14fps the Mark II offers then you need to get this LP-E19 and not the LP-E4. Just wish it was cheaper. ... show more

I love my Mark III because it never quits because of these batteries. I've bought non gem replacements before only to have them fail when u need them most. These Canon branded batteries are like the energizer bunny, they just keep hopping along.

It’s a new canon battery, it works great in my 1dx mk ii. It’s pricey, hence the lower rating.

    • A battery that works well and lasts all day!
I had to buy another battery as a backup. These batteries are not cheap but are totally worth it! They last all day on my Canon 1 DX Mark III!
