Yes, it's a little tough to close, but not as bad as some reviews made it sound. And aside from that - there's nothing wrong with this chair. It took minutes to put together, it's very durable, really comfortable for my back (spend lots of time in this chair for what I am using it for - nursing baby, pumping; will use in another room in the house later on). We ordered this for our baby boy's room. I love the look of the chair. The fabric seems durable. It was very easy to assemble. However, it is very hard to close the reclining portion. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and can barely get out of the chair due to this part. I'm hoping the more we use it, the easier it will close. I don't think I could get out of it without waking a sleeping baby at this point, so I'll probably order an ottoman to be safe. ... show more

I was a little apprehensive about ordering such a large item through amazon but I’m glad I did. We love our rocker glider recliner. It’s very beautiful, functional, and comfortable. It works perfectly in our nursery. It makes comforting our baby easier while keeping us comfortable too. It was very easy to build for my husband. it started making a creeking noise a couple of days in but my husband just pushed down on the top portion with a little pressure to better secure it and it instantly stopped. I’ve had this less than 6 months and both arms have broken inwards and the foot part cloth has completely broken apart. This is from normal everyday usage. If I knew how thin the arms were I would have never purchased it for our nursery.

Perfect chair for a nursery! It doesn't take up too much space and it looks just like the picture. It glides smoothly without squeaking or creaking. I enjoy the reclining feature; it's very comfortable! And, it's not very difficult or loud to get the leg rest back in when it's time to stand up. My back feels supported while I sit upright. The chair is sturdy yet comfortable. These are all things I wondered about after reading other reviews so I am content. All in all a very good recliner/rocker. Are you kidding with this? This chair is so nice! I spent a lot of time looking at rocking chairs. I even bought one for my other child not too long ago for way more and didn't like it. This is comfy and nice looking. I know some people complained about the kicker. I am only 5'1 and have no problems it went back in easily. My husband even said he wished we had 2 of these chairs! I would pay even more for this. This is one of those things you buy and cannot believe nice quality still exists. ... show more
