This recliner/lift chair is extremely comfortable and I love the vibration feature. The first time sitting in it, I was fast asleep within minutes, (which says a lot for the amount of hip pain that I’ve been experiencing). It is sturdy and the fabric is top quality. We also like the back wheels on the base of the chair. It makes it easy to move the chair to different areas in our living room. (My wife is always rearranging our furniture). The only drawback to this chair is that it doesn’t have a battery backup if the power in the house were to go out. I remedied that with the purchase of a surge protector with a UPS battery backup. (It will not only keep it powered up to get out of the chair, but it will protect the electrical components in a storm). The seller is VERY reputable and easy to work with. When the boxes were delivered, the box which held the base part of the chair was damaged. When we tried to assemble the chair, there were pieces extremely bent on the base. It wouldn’t allow us to assemble the back of the chair to the base. We contacted the seller and a new chair base was delivered to our door within SIX DAYS! The new base worked perfectly. We can’t thank them enough for all their help and support. We will DEFINITELY be doing business with this seller in the future.

There is fundamentally so much wrong with the design and functionality of this chair I couldn’t possibly list everything. If you’re a big person, it struggles at 400lbs, far less than the rated 450lbs. If you’re a tall person, it’s not for tall people. It doesn’t really lift you, it’s more like a dump truck that spills you out into the room. It’s not a wall hugger so it really needs to be out in the middle of the room and it’s massive so make sure you have a realllllly big room for it. The back doesn’t come forward enough so it’s like sitting in a hoopty where you’re always laying too far back. The butt seat is like sitting in a hole. The massagers are a complete joke. It comes in 3 boxes, the largest being 105lbs. Be prepared for this, it’s massive and heavy. Mine had been dropped somewhere along the way and the frame was bent in 2 places. I wasn’t about to package it back up and hulk it outside so I repaired it myself. It’s 6 weeks in and the frame creaks and twists when you move it. When I initially looked at the ad, there was a drawing of the mechanics of it and was touting a double lift mechanism which was the main reason I bought this model. When I got it it had no such lift and the drawing was gone from the ad. Again, I wasn’t prepared to repackage it and hulk it back outside. I would never recommend it to anyone.

The good: it’s a comfy chair that fits me well enough (6’2”, 400lbs). The lift works great, if slowly. Assembly of the chair was straightforward and understandable (literally tab an into slot b). The bad: the assembly manual was poor quality, depended on indecipherable poorly drawn graphics to illustrate the wire connections. Chair wiring for the heat and massage functions did not match the manual, appeared to be missing a wire. I wasn’t planning on using that functionality (central Texas, don’t need heated furniture, hate massaging machines) so no big loss. Came in three boxes, box 1 (seat base, heaviest) was damaged in shipping, but contents survived FedEx. The controls are “interesting”. Up/down button to raise/lower footrest. Continue holding down button to lift chair. The result: a decent recliner for the price. Main reason I got it was the power lift, which works sufficiently. If the chair falls apart or catches on fire sooner than expected, I’ll post an update.

I would give the recliner chair 10 stars if I could, when it was delivered one box was damaged reached to Amazon customer care and they reached out to the seller. The seller was awesome and listened to our concerns about the damage, gave us a replacement and the recliner is so comfy my husband sometimes sleeps in it at nights.Great reclining ability, sturdy for a big and tall guy. Overall a great purchase would recommend this recliner chair
