Damn near lost my thumb. Be sure to use the appropriate knife for your task. I used the seragated one for slicing a lemon - not a good choice. I would say, read the directions for what is for what if you are not sure. I love the look, beautiful white handles. Being a woman, these knives are substantial, although they fit in both my hand and my husband''s hand and work beautifully. I wanted Wuustoff, but tried these out due to large quantity of knives. Wuustoff just didn't have the knives I wanted all together in White. I am very happy with this purchase. But use caution - sharp as hell! ... show more

I love our carving set by this company. And some of the other knives as well. This one not so much. It was not very ergonomically friendly to my hand. Yet the carving set is perfect. Go figure. I will try some other of this company's knives.
