Overall great chairs for an apartment if you're going for a modern look on low $. Lightweight and fairly easy to assemble. Definitely good chairs for the price and from what I have seen on other plastic chair reviews these are more sturdy and do not have as much bend in the back as others. Assembly: Fairly easy to assemble once you understand the legs can only attached the bottom of the chairs. There are arrows on the top of the legs which show you which direction to attach them on. Took less then 30 minutes to assemble all four chairs. The only reason why I would say it takes a bit longer is attached the cushions on the chairs for mine came slightly warped. Once they were attached the chair and tightened they went to the correct fit. The directions aren't the greatest but it's pretty self explanitory assembly. sturdyness: For apartment chairs these are great especially for the price. As a 200 lb man I don't find any issue with them flexing or bending. ... show more

Super cute chairs. I bought two. Great for sitting at dinner but not for long periods of time on a work conference call. We use them when we need extra seating at dinner. Lightweight and easy to move.

I love the look of these chairs. They were fairly easy to assemble and I am happy with how sturdy they feel being that they are so light. I love the look of these compared to other similar products because I didn't like how a lot of the others had metal pieces around the legs. The only thing I'm concerned about is the seat cushion. It doesn't seem to be of the most durable quality, however, if it were to tear it would be fairly easy to remove and get new fabric to cover it. ... show more

Took a little bit of brainpower to assemble the first chair, but once you figure it out, it's not too bad. Padding is OK but not great. The back flexes a bit, which I actually like. They look nice, although I haven't had them that long and already noticed some dirt collection in the seams.

I had difficulties with the fourth bolt affixing the base to the seat, similar to the issue others have had with the product. Had I my tools at hand, I’d have adjusted the wings on the receptacle for that threaded bolt, as I believe the problem was that one or two of the points were bent in the way of the bolt. But I’m in an apartment with few tools. I lowered the rating by one star due to the difficulty of getting the alignment of the bolts in place. Also, there are marks on the wooden chair legs that are unexplained. Little red arrows. I thought that my issue was incorrect placement of the arrows with regard to the front/back of the chair. Clarification would be helpful to the consumer. I also think that the manufacturer could have sanded the edges of the wooden chair legs, as they are sharp to bare legs (who doesn’t wrap their legs around chair legs as you linger at a meal?) so they do better with a little 200 grit sandpaper running down the edges, or even an emery board (mine are unfinished wood). The company responded, eventually, with a replacement chair. It assembled perfectly. I think that was amazing customer service. I also think furniture you assemble, whether Ikea or something from Amazon, needs to be revisited from time to time to tighten the nuts and bolts. ... show more
