I’m absolutely in love with these chairs. They’re comfortable and so stylish. They are great for incorporating mid-century modern into more traditionally furnished homes without being too modern. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a transitional piece. A bit about the quality/structure of the chairs: They are so easy to assemble. Pay attention to which legs go where; they’re labeled. The feet are adjustable and scratch resistant to floors (I added floor protectors just in case). The color is not what I would call brown as it’s listed, but it isn’t quite gold/yellow either. I personally like this, and it’s a beautiful color in person. If you’re on the fence, go for it. These chairs really add to the look of my dining area and match my navy cabinetry and other accents. The velvet is so soft - not all fake crunchy feeling like some can be! Textures can bother me, but I love the feel of these. While cushioned, the chair is fairly firm and a bit narrow. An above average sized person might find these a bit snug. The gold tone is obviously a little fake, with a yellow-y look to it, but it's so low it blends fine with other shades of gold that I have in the room. I bought 4 chairs. It comes with 2 chairs per the box. One chair's plastic wrapper was ripped and there was a disgusting plastic pepsi bottle (looks like Chinese lettering) that was obviously, purposely poured over the chair since that one chair was completely sticky and stained. It is a bulky item, so it would be too much hassle to box up and try to return. The 3 unstained chair was, however, easy to assemble, looks great, sturdy, and decently comfortable. I will try to spend time to clean the stained chair as best as I can and try to salvage it. If not for the one disgusting chair, this would definitely be a 5 star purchase. ... show more
