The bed rail was quick and simple to put together. It feels very sturdy and well made. My grandma was able to use it but it did take some time to get use to. I like the light feature but not a fan of the motion sensor. I prefer an on/off switch instead of motion sensors as they do not always work properly 100% of the time ... show more

Using it for the elderly with mobility issues is a little bit unnerving because it doesn’t feel like it is 100% sturdy but there hasn’t been any issues so far as long as you extend the under the mattress bar all the way across
