  • Good Filtered Higher Powered Supply for Raspberry Pi
I used this power supply for a Raspberry Pi 5 with perfect performance and plenty of power for the attached SSD. The Raspberry has an attached pro Audio "hat" card that per manufacturer's suggestion uses a separate filtered supply. The picture shows the installation with his power supply coming in from the left of the Raspberry Pi enclosure. ... show more

  • Works great with Pi4 2GB!
I bought this after experiencing low power warnings and system faults with another manufacturer's adapter. This one has the correct power specifications. I am satisfied and would trust CanaKit for more Pi-related products in the future!

  • Works well for RPi 4, not for charging phone
I recommend only buying this if you're planning on using it exclusively with your Pi4 and never for anything else. If you want a USB-C power supply for a different reason, you may want to consider a different device which can meet all of your needs. I bought this to sometimes power a Raspberry Pi and sometimes charge my phone, depending on where my Pi needs to be at that moment. I'm aware that it's not a QuickCharger, but the power supply that came with my ArgonOne case (with a similar amperage rating) will dump loads of current into my phone and charge it in about an hour, while this thing charges at a crawl. It could be a quirk of my phone, I suppose, or it could be a poorly implemented USB-C interface so that my phone is deliberately limiting itself to micro-USB levels of current (phone screen says "slow charging"). I know this power supply is capable of supplying more current because the RPi runs perfectly fine with it, even overclocked. Even so, since it doesn't meet all of my expectations while a different RPi 4 power supply does, I can only give it 4 stars. ... show more

  • Proper, consistent, regulated power for the Raspberry Pi.
I've tried multiple power solutions for my Raspberries but none give the results of individual power supplies designed specifically for the task. I run four Pis in a UCTRONICS rack mount, each with an SSD drive rather than Micro SD cards. This power supply runs everything I throw at the Pis and never throttles. The 'vcgencmd get_throttled" command always returns "throttled=0x0" regardless of load when using this power supply. Other power supplies and multi-port USB chargers will return other throttled statuses including "throttled=0x500000" which indicates throttling due to undercurrent. My only nitpicks with these chargers are: 1) The cables are very stiff and hard to route neatly into my rack mount 2) The magnet at the USB end of the cable is very large and interferes with cable routing as well 3) The cables are permanently attached to the brick and can't be replaced in case of a short, etc. I highly recommend this power supply and have bought four of them so far and will continue to do so as I expand my Pi fleet. I do wish they would offer a larger power supply that could run multiple Pis to eliminate all the redundant wall bricks. ... show more

  • Does what it says on the tin.
I had my pi4 plugged into a decent phone charger that should have been able to provide a solid 2.4A but I kept getting undervoltage warnings. For $10 it makes my Pi happy, so I'm happy.
