Color: Blue
You remember the old commercials for that national hotel chain? "I'm not a heart surgeon but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn last night?" Well, this tent will catapult you into the league of the legendary. Far from a cramped little forest penalty box, this sucker is spacious and roomy, nearly allowing all six-feet nine-inches of my elongated frame to stand erect while changing clothes and rooting for my electronic charging cables. The Campros CP is a veritable Taj Majal for willingly dispossessed back country tourists, basically a woodlands dance hall made of fabric, zippers, and poles. All the stitches are pleasingly placed and the small amenities are luxurious to one that expect little when voluntarily unhoused: a hook at the top for a lantern, two small pouches affixed to opposite walls for basic storage, and a "tech port" that is ostensibly designed to run wires into the structure but really serves well as an exhaust port for midnight urinations. You may have noticed a fairly modest price for such palatial edifice, and there are certain exchanges for that thriftiness. To wit, there is one zipper on the front opening, so you have to do a full circle for every ingress and ingress. There is no handy-dandy strap to tie the door open should you wish to come and go unimpeded. The pitiful stakes included with the tent have the same function and appearance as a bent-up paperclip so you'd do well to upgrade immediately. And the cost of such an immense, comfortable tent is the fact that you definitely need two happy campers to attempt - ahem - erection of said tent. The poles, when assembled, are longer than the Alaskan pipeline. So it'll take two sober people to do a proper job of it. I have used the Campro tent twice now on multi-day camping trips and have found it quite the spacious sleep pod. I haven't experienced its qualities in gale-force wind or torrential downpour yet, but it feels quite stout ... for a tent. And given that, I'm happy to have a home to go home to afterwards. ... show more

  • spacious good tent for 2
Color: Dark Green
We got this tent for two of us. It was very spacious I could stand inside. Good size for two of us sleeping in a length with a little space between us and on sides so we put things like books, eye glasses and head lamp etc. next to us conformably. Plenty space for bags and shoes on the other side. We were very confortable. I can't imagine this tent to be for 6. Maybe for family of 4 with small children then not much space left for bags. Setting up at very first time took a long time because instruction was poor. You have to place all three poles first on flat before secure on corners. We didn't encounter strong wind but had light rain, tent was fine. I look forward to take this to more camping trips. ... show more

  • Easy setup, keeps water out
Color: Blue
Easy setup with two people. Held up to constant and heavy rain over the course of a weekend while my other friends' tents leaked :)

  • Easy to set up
Color: Blue
I got this tent 2 days before a camping trip, so first use was at the campsite. If you know how to set up a tent, don’t read the instructions as they are confusing. We got this tent set up in about ten minutes and it was pretty sturdy. We had the teens do the setup but one person could put this tent up with no problem except for the fly - it’s helpful to have 2 people for that. We loved the screened windows for airflow - it was pretty hot during the day but cooled off nicely at night with the screen flaps open. We slept 4 quite comfortably. Six people would be a bit tight but doable. It rained pretty hard on the last night and we stayed fairly dry except where something was touching the tent walls but no puddles and no drips. I think that’s the same in any tent. Takedown was quick. I was concerned we wouldn’t get the tent back in the bag but it’s made of a lightweight material and folded up small enough to fit back in that small bag, poles and all. I’d recommend this tent to others. So far, I have no complaints. I’m sure I’ll get a few seasons out of it. ... show more

  • Got Hailed on and it stood strong!
Color: Blue
I took this tent camping and we got torrential downpoured on as well as a n hour-long hail storm. Others tents collapsed from the heavy hail but this one did not. My tent did get wet, the rain was so heavy it did come through the sides but the bottom is made of a tarp material and it did not come through the bottom. My tent was on an actual puddle of water and I didn't flood. This is a great tent for the price! ... show more

  • Good tent, but some considerations
Color: Blue
I find this a very good tent for the money. The headroom is nice. There is enough length along the short wall for an inflatable bed, though it does touch the wall. Initial setup was ok, not great. Subsequent ones will go smoother. The instructions could be better, and larger. There is room for improvement. The tent is strung too tight on the poles. This pulls the bottom edge of the tent up off the ground. This means water will follow the fabric and go under the tent and get trapped between it and the groundcloth. This is a MAJOR fail. The tent's bottom perimeter seam should have a deflector flap to prevent this. The window zippers are good, but the zipper for the door is under designed. I would not be surprised to see it fail before too long. Some velcro at the door would also be a nice touch for fast opening/closing. A second electrical hole, on the back of the tent, would be convenient. I found the poles a little lightweight, and feared I would snap them while erecting. But they held. The tent is not as large looking as I thought it would be. I'm glad I got the larger, 6 person, size. I'd also like to see a convenient way to restrict the ventilation at the top, for colder weather. ... show more

  • Way better than expected!
Color: Blue
Definitely very happy with this tent. Fit 2 twin air mattresses with plenty of room to move around and keep our gear stashed. The very first night it rained for quite a few hours with no leaks at all. I had read some other reviews that mentioned leakage issues so I was planning on putting a tarp over the top but never got around to it. Turns out I didn't need it, stayed completely dry. Only issue I have is it's definitely difficult to set up alone. 2 person set up for sure. Well worth it. ... show more
