We have purchased several mattresses in our lives. Some cheap, some super expensive (like thousands of dollars), some boxed and some spring. We decided to go for this one when we saw it on sale and bought the 12”, California king. This is BY FAR the best mattress we’ve ever bought and we are SO glad we went for it. My husband has nerve damage from an accident and since sleeping on this mattress, his pain has been reduced by more than half. I am usually a very light sleeper, tossing and turning all night, waking up every time he moves. With the mattress, I fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm goes off. It is firm, supportive, and molds perfectly to your body. My husband and I are both on the heavier side, and nearly two months in, this mattress is still perfect. No signs of drooping or sagging. Out of the box it filled right up, and even though there was a very slight plastic smell from the wrapping, it was gone by the time we made the bed. We let it breathe and expand several days, but honestly a couple hours after opening it had already filled out beautifully. I can not recommend this mattress enough. If you are on the fence because you’ve been let down by previous boxed mattresses, take the plunge anyways. It’s amazing. And the price is unbelievable.     • Feels as Good as the Most Expensive Bed-In-Box Brands but at a Fraction of the Cost!

First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it. For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights. Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking. When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body. So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all. This mattress saved my back. It’s plenty firm, but it’s still cozy and cushy. You feel like your body melts into the mattress. It’s held up amazingly too, considering all the gymnastics routines that have been performed on it over the last 2.5 years. It’s a great mattress and a great price. *3 wk-Update*: I've been sleeping on this mattress for three weeks and honestly, I just can't seem to get comfortable and I think it's because it's just too firm. I think it feels like it's an extra firm mattress that has a little layer of softer foam right on top... which accounts for the bit you do sink in, but when you do sink in, you inevitably hit the firmer foam below it. I've been having some back discomfort while trying to get comfortable on this mattress. I'm not saying the mattress is causing any further back pain, but it's not doing my existing back pain any favors or affording me any relief. I already ordered a different mattress from another company to try that out, and if I get better sleep on that one, then I'll be returning this one. I hate to do that as it's a mattress and I don't think they can resell it. If I do initiate a return, I'll update the review to reflect the returns process. I don't mean to dissuade anyone from purchasing this mattress. I should note that there are plenty of "pros" such as... the mattress arrived very clean and without much of an "off-gassing" odor. It's fairly easy to get in and out of the bed, and I don't feel like I'll fall off if I'm near the edge. I really believe this might be a terrific mattress for someone who likes a really firm bed with a bit of a soft top. *(initial review)* I didn't take any photos because there are already a lot of photos of this mattress. I'm just here to give my opinion. I got this mattress on 10/26 and today is 10/29, so I've only had 3 nights on this mattress so far. The mattress arrived clean and in perfect condition. I let it inflate most of the first day and then put a zippered hypoallergenic mattress cover on it, then sheets, bedding,etc. before jumping into bed. Lesson learned, don't jump... this isn't a bouncy bed! It is firm, but the top layer has definite sink to it. Not too much though, just enough. The bed I frustratingly threw out just days before getting this was a Beautyrest Recharge. It was the most horrible bed I ever had the displeasure of wasting hard-earned money on. I was waking every morning feeling like my spine had been twisted into a pretzel shape! I'm sure those of you out there suffering the same fate know exactly what I mean. That mattress was a pillowtop hybrid and the materials broke down so fast. I couldn't take it anymore and went to take it off my bed to toss it outside onto the porch, and it wouldn't even stand upright. It kept trying to fold in half like a taco! Mattresses shouldn't do that! This one seemed to have decent reviews which is why I purchased it. After only three days, I'm not yet sure whether I love it or not. I definitely don't hate it. It may just be that my body needs to get adjusted to it. When I get off the bed, I can see and hear the mattress re-inflating and filling in where my body imprint was.The reason I only gave this bed 4 stars is because it's only been 3 nights so far, and I need more time to make a decision. I found this bed to feel firm, but more on the medium-firm side and not plush at all. I had my little brother lay on it (ok he's a grown man about 5'7 155lbs), and he thought it felt "hard". I definitely think that a person's weight can have something to do with their perceptions regarding the firmness level of this mattress. Keep that in mind if you're think about purchasing. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks to truly decide if I love this mattress. I'll update this review in a week or two in case anything changes. Fingers crossed. I want this mattress to be "the one." One last thing, the bed only inflated to 11 inches, not 12, but maybe it'll get there one day, and if not it's no big deal.
