Worked as intended. However, the cold intake valve didn't come with a snap on module for the blue cold water intake valve. The instruction also mentioned a cold water cut off valve that was not included in the box. I found myself having to turn the whole unit to secure the water hose.

It heat up fine, and it's easy to control the temperature with the water flow valve. Unfortunately it does not include a quick disconnect for the inlet hose, though it does include the nipple. The other fitting included does not turn independently of the shower, so connecting a hose was difficult. Plus the instructions recommend additional ball valves and fittings that aren't included. It's going to take a trip to the hardware store to finish this. Takes 2 D cell batteries, also not included. ... show more

We placed this item in our shower house at our hunting cabin. It works just as advertised. Water is heated instantly, and the water pressure is perfect. It is easy to winterize, and water and temperature regulation is easy. I definitely recommend this for your off grid cabin or camp ground. You do need good water pressure coming into the system. We have a garden hose running from the hydrant directly to the shower unit, and it works great. ... show more

These units are awesome. I won't be using it often but when I do it will be priceless. I'll probably improve the shower wand and the plastic connections a little lower quality and the quick connect leaks a lottle but again great product, little minor room from improvement I'm gonna add quick connect to the water supply and the gas line to make everything easy and fast to hook up I'm planning on mounting everything inside a Pelican case model 1650. ... show more
