When camping, I rarely ever cook on a campfire, and although I love my little alcohol camp stove, I could probably cut back on the amount of fuel I have to pack in, if I were to use fire more often for cooking and especially for heating water. So although I have not used this little gadget yet (current fire restrictions still in effect) it looks like it will be an awesome device to support a pot of water. It looks strong, well made and best of all it's very lightweight.

I could’ve sworn when I got this it mentioned leather in the title, after it shipped I saw a review mentioning fake leather, now the title shows PU and I don’t see that review…hmm. Anyways I bought this specifically over some that cost HALF the price simply due to the leather pouch, but it’s a junky, super cheap looking case. Now for the good, it’s 2 pieces, so you won’t lose or have to keep track of many little pieces. I saw some that has the chain, a bolt and nut and many little things to fidget with while camping and in rocks/grass/dirt that it seemed inevitable that you’d lose something in your kit or on the ground, and this is 2 larger items so seems a bit safer to keep it all together and easy to spot. Haven’t used it out doors yet, but seems durable.
