Description

Common mistakes in choosing a right camping camp stove: 1) To choose pocket rocket stove with less weight consideration. Mistake: You have to use much heavier propane gas canisters, for a small normal weekend hiking or camping as examples, if you bring one stove and 2 canisters with you, actually this system is heavier than our butane gas camping stove system. 2) To choose rocket stove for space occupation consideration. Mistake: It has great tip over risks when you prepare your hot food, and moreover, to enjoy life, why let hiking stove limit our food range? 3) To buy pocket rocket stove as they are cheap. Mistake: camping gas stove is cheaper, but the propane gas it will use is expensive. Compare to use our camp burner, you have to pay much more for each gas canister consumption. And this doesn't calculate that butane gas has 32.2% heat value than propane gas. 4) To choose big and square shaped camping stove as they can make gourmet frying, stewing, steaming, roasting with bigger cookware. Mistake: Backpacking, hiking or camping, weight and size is also critical. Our FOLDABLE compact amp burner was designed to solve the conflicts. • All metal, sturdy and compact.
This stove is compact and it will support good-sized pans and pots. The flame control works great and it can be adjusted from wide open to a low simmer. I paid $9.99 plus tax for this stove and in my opinion it's a great stove.

  • Works well enough, great price, a little flimsy feeling.
This stove has a price point that's hard to believe in the camping sector. But I thought I'd give it a try, and it seems reasonably good. The true test begins on my first camping trip later this month, but I tried it out as soon as I got it, and it seemed to work fine. Don't move the butane canister while in use-it flares up every time. But it provides a reasonably stable base for a pot, and was easy to use. The piezo igniter worked fine for me, but other reviewers noted it didn't last long. Time will tell, but if I have to light it with a match or a lighter that's not a deal breaker for me. For $10, if this thing works on my upcoming trip I'll be buying another. ... show more

  • This is a good product
Treat it with respect and it will work great, it's sturdy and worth it. Get a heat shield to go with it for windy days. The bottle looks close to the fire but it's safe.

Cute, Compact and functional. I have a few motorcycles and use this along with other styles too for my saddle bags. Enjoy cold weather coffee brewing.

  • Remember it is $15 and I love the stove.
I am old enough to remember the flood of Japanese tin toys in the 50s and early 60s. They were cute and innovative but tin. I live in NW MT there is not a whole lot to do here so I spend a lot of time in the wilderness trying not to get eaten. I will drive 10 -15 miles never seeing a soul, park and take a hike. I usually make coffee, tea or sometimes a Freeze dried meal. The stove I use is one of my alcohol stoves. This stove is less fuss than those and far more adjustable. Does it save weight and space probably not, about the same with an edge to the Alcohol stove. This stove I would pack a bit more carefully then the Alcohol stove. It would be easier to fry stuff the flame is quite adjustable but touchy (just don't have you face too close when adjusting.) One of the pictures is a square pan frying a variety of food the green cylinders, sort of in the middle are cut up green string beans. That should give ya an idea. I'm pretty sure I would not use cast Iron to fry with. As I am only using this for tea, coffee or snacks I think it is Ideal, easier to set up, get started and hotter adjustable flame then alcohol. Could you do more, and easier with this stove, yes I think so.. I am a bit concerned about the cold 32F happens a lot more often here and -32F is not abnormal in the winter. It does NOT come with fuel and it does not say it does. I did buy an adapter hose for the butane/propane mix gas if I go out in the winter. So would I take this out n the wilderness 30 miles from any human no mobile phone, where my live may depend on it? Not with out a back up. It is a fully functioning toy and I love it. It is more versatile then Alcohol and you could cook greater verity of food much easier than alcohol. For an in house emergency stove it would make a good back up I think. ... show more

  • Great little camp stove!!
The directions have so many typos! Just barely turn it on to light. The directions say to turn 4 turns, which is insane, so be careful. But it works amazing!!
