This was purchased as a gift for an avid outdoors person who gave was happy with the gift. This was a heavy box and the metal parts were not hallow; they look like sturdy to me.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The grill works fine but kettle hook tightening mechanism fell apart as I was tightening it the first time. I think the metal was compromised and im bummed because I was really excited about using this.

It was all right I felt like the quality could be a little bit better. There isn’t really a good place for you to hammer things down and when you do hammer into the dirt, the metal bends really easily putting things that are too heavy on it also makes the metal bend.
