I bought this to go on my day pack. The clip is well built, sturdy and will last a long time. The only reason for the 4 stars is it's a bit heavier than I expected and the pack I like to use for daytime trips was too light weight for this to fit on, so it sagged and I didn't feel it was safe for my camera. But that's on me, nothing to do with the product. If you have the right pack/belt to hang it on then it's well made and easy to use. If like me you were going to use it on something light weight, then you might want to reconsider. I kept it because I might find something it can hang on eventually, it does work.

Wow!!! As an avid hiker who stopped lugging his camera gear due to its weight...this is a Godsend. I tested it out on a 5-day hike in Ireland toting my Sony a6700 and it was great!

I liked the secure feel of my DSLR w/400 mm lens on my belt but after approx. 200 yards of walking the screw holding the quick release mechanism to my camera loosened, allowing the camera to fall to the ground. The screw had been tightened with a screwdriver before starting out but it still worked loose. I'm very unhappy and am returning this clip.

I absolutely love this camera clip! The design is great, and the price is perfect for the quality. I use it with my compact digital camera, and it works wonderfully. I took it with me to Mexico and felt my camera was secure the whole time. It’s made of high-quality materials, and it's super convenient for quick shots. Perfect for hiking! I loved not having to strain my neck carrying the camera. The only downside is that after long hikes, the screw tends to loosen, so you’ll need to retighten it occasionally. I still kept the strap around my neck just in case the camera fell off the clip, but that’s just a precaution. Overall, it’s a great product!

I love hiking but having to hold your camera with it pounding against your body or putting it in your bag and possibly missing the shot bothered me. I bought this and just completed 2 big trips, let me say this thing is a life saver. I ran with my camera on here and all was good. Highly suggest this product to anybody looking for something quick and easy.

Great idea however 1) bulky design, no matter where I attach it (backpack strap, belt, you name it) it looks/feels like a pimple on a 13 year old forehead 2) the locking mechanism does not inspire confidence, try and hope your $1800+ camera is securely attached before you let go off it
