My wife pointed this jacked out to me when I needed a winter jacket for an unusually rainy season. We also had some weeks with temperatures in the low 40s F (~4 C). This jacket was rather inexpensive and I was surprised at all the great reviews but took a shot figuring I might end up returning it. But, this is a very competent jacket that I actually very much like! It looks great and it is indeed warm and handled the rain as well. It's relatively light weight for what it is. It's a bargain but not one of those cheap jackets that are shoddily made. It's a solid performing winter jacket at a more than reasonable price. I'm not saying there aren't better winter jackets out there - there probably are. But on a 1 to 10 scale, I'd say this is an '8' jacket at a '4' price. ... show more

My husband uses this jacket almost everyday. The wind is really strong where we live and it snows. It kept him warm the entire time. It’s not overly bulky so he can easily move around and still drive with it on. The lining is really soft and haven’t had any snags with the zipper. I bought this for christmas and even 4 months later it still looks brand new. The quality is great for the price. It’s also bigger than what it initially looks like when it comes out of the bag. Beautiful color and warm. Glad that the hood is fleece lined. Only problem is the hood connector (used to keep hood to head), when the hood is down, flaps and just plain looks stupid. But on cold days, the hood connector works well to keep my throat covered from cold winds. Pockets are warm enough but are not fleece lined. Neither are the arms, but they are warm enough. I had to go up in size from an XL to a 2XL so I could have room to layer. Sleeves are a bit long then. Because of the lining, the Jacket is not as light as my old one, but definitely warmer! So I use my old jacket on less cold days, but go to this when I want to stay warm. My old jacket was a walmart red parka with hood with barely any lining, but it fit so well, until the zipper starting not working. Zipper is plastic, but bigger teeth than my old jacket, so hopefully will last longer. I prefer metal zippers, but those are hard to fine. ... show more

Feels nice and slightly heavy, the inside is furry and soft. Kept me warm during the winter in Canada, also has some straps around the arms and neck to block the wind from going in.
