I used this 2' high fence to add a foot of height to an existing wooden fence, with one foot overhanging the wooden fence and one foot extending above it. For that purpose it is perfect. It is stiff enough to stand up above the existing fence on its own with just an occasional support pole. And in a situation like this, where I did not want to/could not stretch the wire really tight, a woven fence would have been overkill and probably not as effective. The welds seem strong, the dark green color renders the fence nearly invisible, and the coating seems well done, with no bare spots. The individual wires are soft enough to bend fairly easily when stitching two sections together, which made for quick and easy installation. I would not recommend this fence for a livestock fence or a fence you want to pull taut with a stretcher. For that, use woven wire. Woven wire is made to be stretched. Welded wire, not so much. It is all about the application.

This is the same 16 gauge welded wire you can get from big box stores for 60% of this price. It is NOT 12.5 gauge.

Coated wire seems ok, never reviewed wire fencing before so I don't know what people are looking for? As described, I guess. It is nice that it is coated. It makes it look a lot nicer, rather than bare wire fencing. It is not as heavy duty as the taller fence, but it is still nice & sturdy. I would only use this shorter stuff for garden fencing, tree protection or maybe making trellises out of.

I had to replace damaged sections of a nylon-coated chain link fence in preparation for a new Saint Bernard puppy. Other vendors were charging more for shipping than the fence itself. After installing 100' of it, I am very pleased with the strength and quality. Much easier to work with than chain link, much less visible, and much easier to install. I bought another 100' feet to finish the job, so that should tell you something. Match it with some good ground stakes and a tensioning system and this fence will not disappoint.
