These are the ONLY clips you will need for sliding into the rail on your rv! These work best with the clip UP, and while I've not had anything come off with the clip down that was pulled taunt outward, i feel that it's more likely with things hanging straight down. I tried all the hanging stuff for the rail, save our money, don't buy those, just buy a bunch of these. The hooks fall out, no matter what, on the others. These hold your lights, grommets, fabric loops and ropes, mister lines.... they slide AND lock like they should, nothing moves, even in high winds. the only ones you need, buy twice as many as you think you need, you will wish you did. bought these for our camper awning. they slide into the track of the awning and we can hang all sorts of things on them. halloween decorations, fourth of July decorations, extra lights. i will say that the wind will slide them down the awning rail if you have a flag or somthing hanging from them. it happend a few times to us. but it takes a good breeze to do it. if its too windy, we roll our awning up anyways so its not a huge deal. you do have to remove these before rolling in your awning every time... i guess that would be a the downfall. i would still recommend them though. ... show more

I really like these. They fit well, but the quality of the materials need to be more robust. Specifically, I use these to hold up a flat rope LED string. It actually fits very well in the clips, but the material of the clips tend to bend them. Simply put, they're not of high quality and not rigid enough. The clip portion tends to bend whichever you hang on them wants to go. I bought two sets to take advantage putting two together to hang more stuff, but I doubt these things can take the lightest of lights, flags, much less anything larger like a tarp or sunscreen. These work, but the lack of rigidness of this product greatly limited what you can hang from them. My recommendation is to use them for small string lights (read: Christmas-type lights) only. Anything heavier, such as an LED rope light that requires a rubber hose with the lights may simply not support it. ... show more

i have used these clips for years on camper awning. work great. the clips gently bend a little when i put up panels on the clips on awning. none have ever broke. they are meant to have some flexibility. i hang the side panels for EZ-up canopies on my awning sides and front. I bought 8 white panel sides from amazon.the clips hold only the panels on the front of canopy. side panels are tie wrapped to side arms of awning. panels have velcro loops that fit on awning clips easily and securely. would recommend these clips for awnings. ... show more
