Calyx Interior Mini Blinds can be easily cared-for, simply dust or use soap and water and your blinds will work well and look as good as new for years. If you plan to mount on the inside, please ensure your window-recess is at least 1/4 inches larger than the blind size that you purchase. Also, make certain that you have a 3/4" inches of depth/flat-space to install the mounting brackets or 2" if you want your blinds mounted flush with your frame.

At this price, this blind can't be beat. For less than $40, I got a 59w x 60l inch blind in white for a large window. The quality is similar to the Project Source brand at Lowes or similar ones at Home Depot, but I could not find this size locally. It's exactly what I expected for the price. It isn't thick or dark enough to be room darkening, but I didn't expect that. It's light filtering and offers plenty of privacy for my need. Some reviewers said they had trouble with the hardware and/or mounting the rail into the brackets. I did not have a speck of trouble, but I did not use power tools (except to drill pilot holes). Power tools are overkill for this type of installation. It's simple enough to manually screw a few screws into the pre-drilled pilot holes. The entire installation tool less than 15 minutes including unboxing and reading the directions. It raises and lowers easily, and the tilt wand works just fine. It will see light use, so I expect it to last for a few years. Over time I expect it will get brittle and the slats will break, but at this price, I wouldn't mind replacing it every few years. ... show more

It only takes a light push to open the blinds (we have another pair that you have to fuss with a lot).
