I am a big fan of Calvin Klein bedding and this blanket is no exception. The color is soft green and soft to the touch. It is lightweight and cotton material. We use it as a light blanket on our bed during the summer months and is great for an extra layer in the winter. Very happy with it!

Absolute waste of money. Every 2-3 days of using this as a blanket / throw, there was a solid layer of lint all over the bedroom. Thought a washing cycle would eliminate the issue, but it almost ruined the dryer - there was a pound of lint that came off of it. Had to finish drying on the handrail. After that, there was another half-pound of lint all over the place, so it ended up in the garbage, where it belongs. ... show more

At first look the blanket was soft and just the right weight that I was looking for. I’m disappointed however in that the blanket did not hold up well in the wash. It shrank when washed the first time in cold water and came out looking somewhat frayed and misshapen.

    • Nice midweight blanket but I question it's durability

This blanket came packaged in a high-end fashion that befits its brand name and higher price point as compared to others that are similar. As such, it would make a nice gift. The honeycomb weave is exactly what I was looking for and the weight is something that works well in the central Texas climate. It's not anything for nighttime winter use, but for the warmer months it would provide a comfortable weight overnight while being a good "couch blanket" for when someone is just a little chilly year round. The reason why I've deducted a star is due to my initial experience with the blanket and the resultant durability concerns. When my blanket arrived it had a strong chemical order and this is not something that I'm usually sensitive about. There was no way I wanted to have any remnant of that smell on an item I would be providing to guests so I immediately gave it a wash being certain to follow the care instructions on the label. It went through my front-loader washing fine, but when I opened the dryer door there was so much lint and fuzz it seemed initially that the blanket had disintegrated. I have never seen an item generate anywhere close to this much lint and I had wanted to get a picture to include with this review, but unfortunately my partner cleaned up the mess before I was able to do so. Other than one or two minor pulls it seems like the blanket is still OK, but if it is going to shed that much fabric getting washed I'm curious how well it will hold up over time. This won't be an every day use blanket for us so hopefully it will hold up, but I'll be sure to come back and adjust my review if otherwise. ... show more

I am pleased with this blanket. We have a bunch of summer-weight cotton blankets, but they all are loose weaves, so they suffer snags easily. This blanket will not completely avoid that fate, but at least it will maybe last a bit longer, as the honeycomb pattern means the threads are somewhat anchored. This lets the blanket stretch as needed with use, and its "low snagability" is a big plus: we have dogs that dash off the bed when they fear getting caught, and that raises the risk of toenails grabbing threads on the way down. Because this blanket is thicker than the others we've tried, the edging, which is just folded over and hemmed like the rest, is thicker and therefore gives it a bit of a profile (more bulk when tucking in, as well). The color is a soft off-white, very nice and goes with most of our other bedding sets. As others have reported, this blanket sheds when dried, but I didn't find it to be any worse than it is for our other cotton blankets. The blanket was somewhat soft upon arrival, and it will get softer as time goes on. All in all, the quality is worth the price. ... show more
